bad ass burger. I actually prefer this hole in the mall to the 5 guys at the other end of the mall.

I’ve eaten here before and the food was always good. So, while waiting for my movie to start I wanted to get some food. I walked up to the counter and the cook was on his phone in the Facebook app. I just stood there to see how long before he notices. After standing there for 2 minutes, a girl comes out the back to take my order. I ordered a burger combo. When the cook heard my order he put the phone in his pocket and picked up a raw burger patty. I told the cashier he needs to wash his hands. He to wash his hands. He puts it down, cuts his eyes at me and walks away. When he comes back he tres to cook the same party he touched with his dirty hand before. I told her I wanted a different patty. He looked at me and started talking mess in Spanish. I asked for my money back & went to hot dog on a stick. I’ll never eat here again.

Burgers are pretty good. Fries are oktoo. Prices aren’t bad for what you get. I ordered a cheeseburger combo, which also includes fries and a drink. I paid under $ 8
I’ve also tried the chicken strips. Not bad
I didnt care much for the fried mozzerella sticks.
Depending on who is there, service is good or better. The owner is awesome. He’s kind and welcoming!

Really rude. I just called and tried to order for a specific time and they wouldn’t let me and the guy hung up on my face!

I believe this is the only burger place actually in the mall. I decided to stop by for a late lunch and boy am I glad I did. It’s a nice peaceful place to sit down in eat aside from the actual food court. I got the lemon pepper chicken sandwich combo! I’ve never had a lemon pepper sandwich and it was amazing. Loved it!

I would love to rate this place. I stood at the register for over 2 minutes with 2 employees within 5 feet of me and neither acknowledged I exsisted, I walked to another place to eat. So customer un-​service gets them 1 star. They were doing something and I get that, but at least say hello or something.

This place has a soft spot in my heart. My gramma always picked up food from here whenever they’re at Carson mall. I loved it growing up. I am now 23, and this place is still open. obviously, they always do it right.
I’ve never gotten a disappointing food experience from here. Their fries are always amazing. Their chicken burgers are always my favorite and tastes great.

Grilled chicken sandwich combo is amazing for the price. Definitely a hidden gem in the mall. They cook to order and fries are not sitting around it is all freshly made. The portions are huge and seasoned perfectly with a toasted bun. Enjoy

I’ve walked by this place a dozen times and said I’d check it out one day. Well, that day was today. And I’m not disappointed. All food is made to order so be ready to give em a few minutes.
I had the Cajun burger and my daughter had the juicy burger. Her burger was clearly a beefier burger than mine. Mine came with Swiss cheese and a nice flavor from the Cajun seasoning which is not spicy. But it’s tasty still. My bun was very fresh as was the other toppings.
My daughters juicy burger was loaded. Jalapeños with the usual toppings but also had ranch added and a fresh bun. The combo came with fries and a drink all for 7.99. Fries were fresh and hot with a sprinkling if some seasoning salt or other. Yum. Their food beats Carl’s by a good margin. Plus if you eat in you can watch the game. We did!

I used to work at the Carson Mall and I came here for most of my lunch breaks. Everything is made fresh when you order. The food is great and you get your money’s worth. If there’s a downside, it’s that it might take a little while for your order to come up but like I said, its not made until you order it and it’s well worth the wait.

Its OK, nothing really spectacular here the burgers are nothing special, only really get the Philly chicken sandwich or grilled chicken sandwich for a quick lunch since there are not many options in the food court. Its a food court kinda place so don’t expect 5star quality but i do enjoy my greasy food joints from time to time.

California grill is a good place to grab a quick bite. Located in the south pavilion mall, i often choose this spot when at the food court. I often get either the chicken sandwich or philly cheesesteak. Both are very good.

I love this place! The food is absolutely outstanding, and the service is always good. The owners/​workers always make sure that you have everything you need without even hesitating at a request, and the cooks (there are 2 of them) always make sure everything is running smoothly.
Also if you know the owners 17 year old son well enough, he makes these special dishes that aren’t on the menu. He told me that he just was testing stuff out on some slow days and he kept some of them. He’ll be adding them to the menu soon too!
All in all, I will always stop by California Grill inside the Carson Mall (South-​bay Pavilion) whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

This restaurant is AWESOME. The service is great and the food is amazing. If you ever come here, I recommend the chili cheese burger. It is the best!

I don’t know what happened but a few months ago they fired they main cutie that worked the register and some old guy (the owner… not sure if he’s new) started working there! YOu can no longer sit inside, you have to sit in the food court now! LAME!
I LOVED their chicken sandwiches and their fries!!!
BUT NOW… their food tastes different and the service isn’t the same… it’s dissapointing because I would come here alot with my grandma (it was her favorite spot) oh well… I guess if you don’t mind your chicken sandwich having a slight burger taste go ahead and pick up some lunch from here…
or…walk across the food court to JERUSALEM KABOB for a better dinner!
