Famous Burgers

I remember coming as a child here with my family after church. This place hasn’t changed much since then. Although the cashier has this mad looking face all the time you can’t even bother her with a question. Why would you want her in the front helping every customer. I won’t be coming back.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. The food is amazing, and they always have a great friendly staff.

Can’t believe that the chicken strip meal is 2 strips and a container of fries… what a rip!

This place has breakfast all day! That’s awesome! Plenty of options on the menu so there’s something for everyone here. I would recommend coming here for breakfast lunch or dinner.

The awkward moment when you bite into your breakfast burrito and get a giant peice of plastic in your mouth like is famous burgers trying to kill my friend or nah! What’s even worse she was on lunch and had no time to eat after that:(#mayisbae. Will probably never eat or recommend this place again #disappointed

Bring your own ranch or take your food to go and hopefully you have ranch at home because a small little container is 70 cents (not even filled to the top). Rip off

This place used to be good. Now they are overpriced and serve crappy food. Paid over $ 3 for a fish taco and got a fish stick taco.

Nice clean spot to come eat some dinner. Was pretty lonely on a Wednesday night but it was what we were looking for. My Fiancé had the French toast combo with eggs and sausage. I tried a piece and really good.
I had the Bacon cheeseburger combo, I loved it.
The price is okay not too expensive not too cheap but will come back to try some other items on the menu. Overall good experience, service was really good for a Mom’s and Pops spot. Lady was very thankful and the food was served pretty fast.

Great friendly and clean place to eat! All the specials are good and priced good. Carné asada burritos are really good, plenty of beans and rice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner family style food.
Staff is awesome, they welcome you the minute you walk in the door and wish you well on the way out.

Love this place! I used to come here alot back when I worked at Broadway Solutions (which was right next to it) The Colossal is highly recommended! Friendly staff too! I would highly recommend this place!

I used to eat here all the time when I was younger! I loved hanging out here with friends and eating, we went ordered burgers and brought them back home.
Then guess what happens?
My sister and I get sick and spent the rest of the night in the bathroom.
Never ever eating here again.

I walked here on a Sunday morning. It’s a less than ten minute walk from the house. It was my first time coming here. I called in my order before I walked there. The cashier seemed friendly.
Food was good but the advertising for the price is what gives its two star. I got the sausage & egg breakfast plate. It comes with hash browns, three eggs & toast. It’s advertised on the window as $ 3.99, but when I got to the register, I paid $ 6.42. Hmm. I only wanted to get it because of the price. Now I don’t think the meal was worth the price I paid for. They should really update the advertisement prices, unless the cashier just overcharged me. I should have contested, but oh well.

My favorite breakfast eatery. Everything they make is just how I like it. The cooking is right in front of everyone. Ÿou can see all is clean and good people working there.

Their burgers and fries are good. So close to home, I can go anytime. I recommend this place

Don’t you ever order a breakfast burrito from here. By far the worst I’ve ever had. If you can take more than 3 bites you deserve a medal.

Great food. Come here all the time. Close to home. The cooks are quick and very strict about getting your order right. The tall new guys pretty cool, very attentive, great customer service. The only problem I had was with the manager. I was going to dine outside with my puppy and the manager was sitting on the outside tables smoking a cigarette and she said «uh no, you cant bring that dog here. Tie it up somewere if youre going to eat here.» I wouldnt have wanted to eat there anyway with her blowing her smoke in my face.

Great customer service and great breakfast. $ 3.99 for eggs, toast, hashbrown and bacon or sausage.
The food tasted delicious and the staff was friendly.
Restrooms were clean and so was the restaurant overall.
I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.

My first time here. It was late, and nobody was in the place. I saw on Unilocal other reviewers talking about the chili cheese fries. So I had to give them a try. I also ordered a junior cheeseburger for my daughter.
The chili cheese fries were really good. I ordered it with onions and they put plenty of onions, just the way I like it. My daughters junior cheeseburger was really good. The burger had thousand island sauce, shredded lettuce, tomato, and a juicy patty.
Service at the counter was friendly. No attitude. A «thank you» and «have a good night» when I walked out the door. I will be back.

Hm, if this place is so famous, why haven’t I heard about it… How quaint. So the cold, hard truth is that almost all these eclectic charburger joints in Carson are highly similar in quality and food choices.
What separates Famous Burgers from other charburger restaurants are their specials. For instance, I got a manager’s special which is a hamburger and fries for just $ 3. Other specials include 2 eggs, 2 bacon or sausage, hashbrowns, and toast for $ 4 or a gyro plate that includes white rice, salad, pita bread, and tzatziki sauce for $ 7.30.
The hamburger I received is definitely smaller from other charburger places I’ve been to and it was supplemented with small fries. This meal plus a corn dog came out to be around $ 5.50 and it was just enough to satiate my hunger.
