Quick(so quick that I’d barely filled my drink and the sandwich was ready) and friendly service… tasty sandwich(had the provolone and avocado, yummy bread too). Bonus: they have«dirty» potato chips brand, of which I’m a fan of. Only been there once, but would for sure visit again.

I have been eating at tummy stuffers(carson) for over thirty years and loving it. The food and service was exceptional as always but today was a little different. I’m fond of service animals but a eatery is no place to bring your pet bird and cage and place it on the tables we eat. I was so disappointed to the point I packed my food and left. Not only did the bird sqaulk the owner could not put her phone down and eat. So disrespectful.

This review is far overdue but this joint is truly a diamond in the rough. I been dining at tummy stuffers for well over a year now since my work is literally down the street. I have to say that you can never go wrong with their endless varieties of sandwiches. If you don’t see one on the menu that tickles your tastebuds they’ll customize a sandwich just for you. My favorites are the turkey bacon, pastrami and the club. Their service is quick which is great for people on the run especially when you only have an hour for lunch and the staff is so friendly. They remembered my name by the second visit and I have since been a regular here you can’t go wrong give them a try.

Came here for lunch with a couple of work friends when I was in the area back in June/July. Located in a very discreet location, it’s quaint and quiet — not much of a place to dine in — I most always ordered for pick-up. They pride themselves on having over 100 different types of sandwiches. Tried as I might, I couldn’t get passed ordered some variation of their steak bomb. Decently sized, simple/straight forward, and made quick to order — it’s great if you’re tight on time and need a decent meal. There isn’t much«customization». You can opt for wheat if you aren’t feeling white, and there are a handful of veggies toppings. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. And there is an array of chips and drinks you can choose from nearby. About a half dozen tables inside while you wait, but it’s not much of a «dining» location. OK stop if you’re looking for a decent grinder/sandwich shop. Call ahead if you come around lunch-time because the lines can be miserably annoying.

They have squaw bread which my family love’s! Only staying open until 3rd during the week and not open at all on the weekend makes it hard to get my fix but, haven’t had a sandwich there I didn’t like. most recent visit went for the Monster… turkey, roast beef, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato and pickles built like a club! It’s yum yum yummy!!!

Rude staff and patrons. I stood in line for a couple minutes, and the cashiers friends came in and cut in line and put their order in first.

When I use to live in LA, ate here at least once a week. Can’t go a week without their steak sandwich. Food comes out fast, clean and in these rough times very affordable. Once catering was avaiable I jumped on it and ordered for my company. Feedback from collegues were all positive. Oh how i miss it.

This place is a gem; 101 different sandwiches which are huge and stuffed, just as the name of the shop hints. Friendly service, they are eager to adjust any of the sandwiches to your liking. The place could use some booths or tables for more than 2 people to accommodate groups. You’ll have trouble finding better sandwiches of so many different kinds.

Got the Large Monster, no mayo, and the Cali Chicken, no mayo. Not stingy on the merry and cheese. Good portions. Good prices. Blows Subway out of the water. Dull interior though. They need some music and some pizazz

Yum. Not only am i a fan, but when i go here, it seems to be several days in a row. The staff is always friendly, the food is always deli cut, and the bread is always fresh. They pile it on for your as well! The name of the place isn’t called that for any other clever reason.

After driving by this place for years and always wondering if it was good but never taking the initiative to find out, I decided to finally peep it out today. Man am I glad I did! I can’t believe I’ve been sleepin’ on this joint for so long! 21 different categories consisting of 101 different sandwiches. Although that is somewhat misleading because in the pastrami category for example there’s a pastrami sandwich or a pastrami and cheese, or pastrami and avocado. Are You pickin’ up what I’m puttin’ down here? They basically just add an ingredient and call it another sandwich. Regardless these sammies are almost as long as my damn leg! Fat boy on a diet, Dont try it!!! These things truly do stuff your gut no matter what kinda girth your workin’ with. I went with the pastrami and bacon($ 6.50). That Sammie was on hit! I almost couldn’t finish it! That’s saying a lot as I am quite gluttonous when it comes to filling my big ol’ belly. Nothing on the menu is over $ 7.50 so you can fill up here pretty cheap. They are open from 10am-3pm. They take phone orders, although they hooked it up pretty quick when I just walked in. I will definitely be back to stuff my tummy!!!

Came here for lunch with a couple of work friends. One of which is my foodie/Yelp friend Dianne S, who found this hidden gem. Tummy Stuffer is located in a non descript office building. There’s one lone sign posted on a wooden stick planted on the corner of the lawn in front. Dianne had the pastrami the first time she came here. But I had read a review from another fellow Unilocaler who raved about the steak sandwich. And also Dianne mentioned that one of the workers there mentioned that was the most popular sandwich to order. So all 3 of us ordered the steak sandwich. I ordered the small, which is 8″, with grilled onions and provolone cheese. You do have an option to get all sandwiches on wheat roll, but if you don’t specify this, you’ll get white. I had mine on white french roll. The roll was fresh. The steak sandwich did not disappoint. The meat was tender and flavorful, not fatty at all. The grilled onions and the melted provolone just made the sandwich. This place blows Jersey Mike’s and Togo’s out of the water! The Asian guy who took our order was so nice. He even gave us free warm chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies! Tummy Stuffer, you can stuff my tummy anytime! I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Thanks Dianne for taking us to this hidden gem!

Finally came here today after passing it by for the last year on my way to school. It is a little hard to find the entrance because the rest of the building is a tax company or something like that. But go towards the front of the building facing Central Ave and the door is there. Inside, the place is very drab and kinda depressing, as others have noted. The lighting is dim, the counters are messy because they have no bussers, and the décor looks like it used to be some sort of failed fast food dive. Dark blue carpet is useful for hiding stains, by the way. However, they do have an A in the window, so I’m all for it. You can order your sandwich by number(1 – 100) or just tell the guy at the counter what you want. I believe he is the son of the owners, as two elderly Asian people were in the back making sandwiches. The lady is super slow at making sandwiches, but she makes sure that each one is perfect! As others have said, each sandwich is a variation on something. Pastrami only, Pastrami and cheese, Pastrami and avocado, etc. They have main categories and go from there. Roast Beef, Pastrami, Ham, Philly, Club, etc. If you can think of it, they have it. I ended up getting the pastrami with swiss on white bread. The guy at the counter asked which bread I would like, but there is no listing of bread choices so you have to ask what bread is available. When I finally got to bite into my sandwich, it was the perfect blend of meat, cheese and condiments.(They put pickles, tomatoes, onions, may and mustard on all sandwiches. You can ask to not have one or all of the toppings if you so desire.) It was definitely stuffed to the brim with pastrami, which is a plus. The taste was not quite as good as Togo’s pastrami only for the fact that there were no jalapeños. However, I could have purchased a little cup of jalapeños for a nominal fee. Also, the bread is not cooked fresh, but a store bought roll. With all of the ingredients in your sandwich, you are not really going to notice though. As far as price goes, most foot longs are cheaper than Subway, but six inch sandwiches are a little more. For example, my foot long pastrami and cheese was $ 6.50, and the six inch version was $ 5.85. So, go all out and get a foot long! They will get 5 stars if they redecorate and clean the place up a little bit in the dining area.

The name«Tummy Stuffer» doesn’t really appeal to me. It sounds like a cute way of saying«Gut Buster». Images of people with engorged stomachs are suddenly brought to mind. :shudder: Now that I got that off my chest, this place does happen to be my usual lunch spot if I’m in the mood for a sandwich. It’s about a block away from my work and it is better than the other chain sandwich shops(Subway, Quizno’s, etc) The bread is decent, but not excellent. It’s definitely not baked fresh. The menu has over 100+ sandwiches, although this can be a little misleading. They aren’t really 100 unique sandwiches. More of just different variations of the same sandwich. For instance, «roast beef & ham» is one sandwich. «Roast beef, ham, & cheese» is another sandwich. «Roast beef, ham, & avocado» is another sandwich. You get the idea. When the addition of a single condiment counts as a different sandwich, it’s pretty easy to tout that you have over 100+ different selections on your menu. The upside to this place is that the prices are very reasonable. The sandwiches are huge, and they aren’t chintzy on the meat like other places tend to be. The taste is good, not great. The guy at the counter is really friendly. One time I had called my order in and said I wanted a sandwich and a side of potato salad. When I got there, he said they had ran out of potato salad so he removed it from my bill. He also told me to grab a free bag of chips and apologized for the inconvenience. That kind of service is noteworthy. This place gets 3.5 stars for their sandwiches, and and an extra .5 star for their excellent customer service. Tummy Stuffer is an excellent choice for a no frills lunch at a reasonable price. Tips: – The sandwich shop is located on the 1st floor. Parking is located in the buildings private lot or the surrounding neighborhood. – Don’t wait until late afternoon. They’re only open during the normal lunch hours(10am — 3 pm), Mon — Fri.
