Microtel Inn And Suites Cartersville

Our stay was excellent! We called at the last minute, they were helpful and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable, the room and hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good. There isn’t anything for me to complain about, I would definitely stay again. It is about 6 miles off 75, but worth the distance.

Stay away from this hotel. They charged me even after cancelling according to their policy. This place is a joke with horrible customer service. They lady that I cancelled with apparently didn’t do so, so a week later I notice a credit card charge on my account. When I call to speak with the «manager» Beth Ann, she was rude, kept saying «sir sir sir sir» every time I tried to speak, and exacerbated the entire situation. She demanded proof of phone conversation with rep to cancel. I was like, who in the world records phone conversations. I asked her to look up phone records, and she refused and made me dig up my own instead. The customer service here is a complete joke, and the manager is rude, very rude and arrogant in my opinion. You don’t argue with customers especially ones who were charged without even staying.

Very rude general manager, did not enjoy our stay at all. DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to be treated like crap.

We were just passing through on our cross country drive, and our stay was very brief. Check in /​out was a breeze. Staff was very friendly, caring and helpful.
The room itself was clean, and the beds were comfortable.
My family was not able to enjoy the included breakfast due to the briefness of our stay.
It was a bit off of I75, but I would not hesitate to stay here again, or recommend this hotel to friends /​family.

I had not heard of this chain before, but we all agreed to stay together so here we were!
You know when you make a nice purchase, get it home, set it out, put it to use, and are generally happy enough with it. But then you realize the paint wears off easily, it rattles a bit and doesn’t quite sit evenly… That’s about how I would describe this hotel.
They’ve done a great job of taking a run-​down motel, slapping new paint and finishing on everything, and calling it a go. The shell is nice, but the core is still in disarray and simply cheaply made.
Simply: «Meeeh»
Sadly their staff didn’t make up any difference: slow to move (or maybe that’s just GA and I’m used to a faster response time now?). Not engaging, but not rude.
Overall this place is tepid.
