Been here 2x. First Time is when the restaurant was brand-new and the service was very poor and so was the steak quality, mushy tomatoes on the salad and bitter tea. Second visit, service was spectacular but the steaks were still poor quality and not cooked properly. Mentioned it and it was was removed from bill and was offered a desert coupon on a future visit. I will not be returning to use them 3 in party 2 of meals were poorly prepared

We ordered a salad bar and baked potatoes… everything was fresh and flavorful. Stephanie was our server and she was GREAT! She checked on us often and asked where we were from since she noticed we had an accent… which I found adorable. While it wasn’t busy, everyone was… cleaning. That impressed me a great deal. Hats off to the MGMT for a nice restaurant, which is so hard to find while traveling. Tip:…try the coleslaw. It’s truly the best!

Just happened to stop in at the Longhorn Grill while traveling and found the parking lot was about full. Once inside my wife and I realized why. A very clean and updated restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was excellent and good sized portions. I would recommend the ribeye steak. We will plan to eat there on our next trip through Carthage.

My wife and I have now eaten here twice in the last few weeks and it’s been great both times. Delicious salads with homemade dressings, great steaks cooked perfectly, and fantastic desserts. Try the homemade Strawberry Cheesecake. Thursday night is Prime Rib Dinner night and the place was packed. My Prime Rib took up half my plate and was perfect. Seared on the outside with charred edges, and medium rare in the middle. It doesn’t get much better.

Good ribeye, great broccoli cheese soup, poor steakhouse salad(tough steak, tomatoes with rotten spots, gritty greens). Good service. Very very cold AC setting. A mixed bag overall.

I had been working out of the state for a while and came home disappointed to find that the previous restaurant in this location had closed. It may not have been the greatest, but it wasn’t fast food or Mexican food. I went out of state again and came home to see Longhorn had opened. First impressions … WOW! It doesn’t even look like the same place outside or in. Having been working in an area of the country where they have no idea about CSF and cream gravy … That’s what I ordered. DELICIOUS!!! Actually hand breaded CSF with just the right seasoning … mashed REAL red taters and YUMMY cream gravy. More than enough to take home for lunch the next day. along with some peach cobbler. I had my comfort food fix for a while. I think this has been a long time coming for Carthage. I hope they’re here for a long time. Glad to have you !!!
