I had the salad bar, which was well stocked with good quality veggies. The two stars is for service, or the lack there of. We received absolutely no attention, and the place only had 4 or 5 other customers. The guy was on the phone the whole time, talking loudly to a supplier. Even when we went to pay, he kept talking.

I was initially excited to try out Milano’s Pizza. Seeing a wide variety of options from their menu — wings, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, etc., I was looking forward to trying their homemade food. I was particularly in the mood for a pizza that night, so I called ahead and ordered carry out for one large 2 topping pizza(sausage and mushrooms) since there was a coupon on their website for only $ 10.99. However, when I called, I was misinformed and was told that they actually raised their prices to $ 11.99. Okay, only 1 more dollar AND it’s homemade, should taste pretty good. I went along and placed the order. When I arrived at Milano’s, I saw that it was most likely a family run business since there were 2 people working in the kitchen, and 1 person at the cashier. There were 3 other customers there and they were already eating, and I was waiting in front of the cashier box waiting to pay for my togo order. The owner, who was in front at the cashier box, was too busy and I had to wait a good 10 minutes before he asked me if I was there to dine in or carry out. While I was waiting for my pizza, I was able to see the open kitchen area and how they made their fresh, homemade pizza. And it was disturbing. I saw the owner, who was handling cash when I got there, pick up cheese to put on a pizza before he put it in the oven. He also just wiped his on a towel that looks like would be used to clean up a table or countertop before he went back to handling cash. And then moments later, he went back to pick up more cheese. That is not safe nor sanitary. This all happened within a 10 minute time frame. The pizza itself tasted below average assuming average is your typical Domino’s or Pizza Hut. The toppings tasted just fine, but the crust was too much and too doughy. Overall, I would not recommend Milano’s Pizza to anyone because of the way I saw them make the food and having unsanitary practices. I understand that for that particular night, there were only 3 people running the restaurant. But there should be no shortcuts when preparing food. Just simply washing your hands with soap for 20 seconds can prevent the spread of bad germs and bacteria.

Meh. It was OK I guess. When in a small town in Texas, I’m used to having limited options. My first impression was not good, since the person taking my order was *very* rude and barely spoke English. It took 20 minutes to do a basic 2-person order… The food really wasn’t particularly good. However, I went with them because they delivered — and almost nowhere out there delivers. The Philly steak pizza was OK. The meat was tender, but the crust was pretty bland. It definitely needed more sauce or something because it was quite dry. The chicken parmesan was partly good and partly awful. The chicken itself was well seasoned and juicy. However, the sauce was bland, watery, and there was no where near enough of it for the amount of pasta I was given(which was way overcooked). I wanted to order fried mozzarella, but was told they were out(REALLY!!!). So instead we had fried jalapenos(just OK, pretty basic), fried shrimp(actually surprisingly tasty), and bruschetta. This was not like any bruschetta I had ever had… it was definitely greek in influence, not italian. I’m really not crazy about greek food and HATE feta cheese — this had TONS of feta cheese in it, so I found it completely inedible. I only hold the fact that this was not listed as a ‘greek’ bruschetta against the restaurant, not the fact I hate feta cheese. I just feel they should have described it better. I also ordered a 2-liter of Dr. Pepper but was called later and told they didn’t have it. I was deeply unimpressed with their soda options. I guess they were low on stock? Not sure, but all they had was Coke, Diet Dr Pepper, and 7-Up. I was also upset that the prices listed on their website were not up to date, or I was overcharged, because my bill came out to be about $ 8 more than I was expecting when the delivery person finally arrived. I was not given a receipt to verify the charges.

We have eaten here quite a few times and have yet to be extremely disappointed. We usually go on Sundays after church and get the pizza and salad buffet. Which is always good. The desserts are okay. I have ordered the lasagna in the past the taste was excellent but the sauce was a little to runny for my liking. We have also ordered the sandwiches, they are very delicious! To sum it up… I don’t think you will be disappointed with anything here!

Well not my first choice since 1, I just had pizza and wings last weekend, and 2, I’M INTEXAS — I wanted BBQ. Anyways this was one of the closer places to the hotel. They only had regular size pizzas(no personal), but I figured since I’ll be here two more nights and I have a microwave, fridge and plates and napkins(why do some hotels give you a mini kitchen and no paper plates? Really, how much does it cost to take a few from the breakfast area and put them in a ziplock bag in the cabinet?) I’d get a medium and some wings. Decent wings, not very spicy really, but not overly greasy either. The pizza was fair. The crust was a bit too soft for my liking, but the toppings were proportional to the cheese, which was just enough. I didn’t think much of the sauce(in either a good or bad way). I got my order to go, but the interior looked nice enough. I didn’t notice if they have beer or wine, or video games. I saw a BBQ place next door so I’ll probably try that next time.
