Prices are slightly higher at this store than other chains though they do have an extensive selection of products. Store clerks were not the friendliest on this visit other than the gentleman assisting at self-checkout. I do like their wine and beer selection. Not bad at all for a grocery.

They are supposed to be open 24hrs a day. I have to be at work at 7am and stopped by this morning like I always do before heading to work. The doors were shut, some gentlemen opened the doors using his hands and said«open at 7». When I asked«thought you were 24hrs» he just shut the doors without answering. Very disappointed!!!

I have been shopping at this store since it opened a few years ago. It’s always been terrific and the employees and managers terrific.

The members of the staff are more interested inn hanging with their friends rather than actually helping customers. After watching me at the self checkout, waiting for help, the manager finally comes over after I walk out.

A great story that I thought I would share w/my peeps. Recently moved to Raleigh, NC from Cali, and have to say, pretty much fully acclimated here w/the exception of one thing very important thing… for the past month, I’ve searched high and low for my choice beverage, and that would be Ito En Oi Ocha Green Tea imported from Japan in the light green bottle. Couldn’t find it anywhere, I mean A-N-Y-W-H-E-R-E!!! So, I’m shopping at my local Harris Teeter(live in Morrisville, a suburb of Raleigh), and I walk around and find Oi Ocha Green Tea, but the dark green tea! Close but no cigar! But I don’t give up. I go talk to the store manager, his name is Matt and he is a super cool guy, and tell him my story. Matt says, «give me your number and I’ll check to see what I can find out. So I give him my number not expecting to hear anything. But oh no, that was not the case at all. Throughout the past two weeks, Matt calls me periodically to let me know he’s called distributors who have checked their warehouses all across the Carolinas and they think they have found my choice beverage, my lost magic elixir. Well, yesterday he calls and he says he has found it and he has it on hold in the manager’s office waiting for me to come and pick it up. First thing I said was«MATT, YOUDAMAN!» Then I told him is that Harris Teeter should give him the PONCEDELEONAWARD, because this guy just found the elusive Fountain of Youth!!! LOL :) I then ordered seven cases of the stuff and I was so stoked about this that I felt compelled to Unilocal about it to share the awesome story! I’m shopping here forever! LOL #totallyamped

Looks like this location has been spruced up and includes more food bars to take prepared meals home. Wide selection of items in every department and definitely can put in some leg work if you go up and down every aisle. Produce section is fresh and packed full with choices. Friendly and helpful employees too!

First of all, I want to make this clear that this review concerns only one person who works at the meat/seafood department. I believe his name is Dennis. He was rude and had an attitude while I was there to get some meat and seafood. I tried to point out which pieces I wanted and he stood there and told me: I can’t see that. My thought was: if you bend down a little bit maybe you can see. I certainly cannot go behind the counter and grab the pieces myself. I didn’t say that since I don’t want to cause a scene. After weighing my purchase he put it on the counter and said: There! and walked away. Not the usualy friendly service I expected from HT team member.

I’ve been using this local pharmacy for several years. Dr. Schley and Dr. Higgins have always been very nice and patient. They take time to explain your medications and answer questions you may have. They call your insurance company for you, if necessary, and work things through. Calling in prescription refills is really easy with the automated system. Or, just drop them off in person and ten minutes later your meds are ready. If you have a question about products in the general pharmacy area, the doctors will walk out to help you. Good people!
