Seriously unhappy! Was going to meet a friend«halfway» between Denver and Co. Springs and thought this was a great place to do it. Checked their hours online to make sure they would be open, drove over half an hour to find they are now only open Fri, Sat, Sun. Not a great start to a Monday morning.

Twas my first time visiting the 3OH!3 and boy did I enjoy this wonderful gem of a coffee shop and wished they where all like this place back home! Not only did this coffee shop have affordable wine tasting $ 8 for 4 mini-glasses of wine, they also have great portions when it comes to food. I ordered the cheese, cracker and fruit appetizer to go with the wine expecting a small plate with some fancy crap on it — what I got was A FULLFLEDGEDPLATTER of grapes, 4 chesses, 4 types of assorted crackers, 3 types of meat of which one was this yummy salami I love! So much for the«little appetizer» because I split this with my fiancé, his Auntie and his Mom. Also they have a blue grass band that plays Friday nights which added to the whole Colorado, local wine tasting at a coffee shop experience. I have never heard blue grass before, but if you like upbeat, happy live music featuring banjos and mandolins this is totally the place for you. So thanks Java Guru for introducing me to wonderful blue grass and for giving me hope that the ecclectic coffee shop still does exist!

Castle Rock needs a place like Java Guru. It’s a great, funky, unique little coffee shop/wine bar/pastry place. Live music on weekend nights, a full bar, homemade pastries, yummy sandwiches, and of course… coffee! What more could you ask for? The service is always friendly and quick here, and I usually leave happier than when I arrived.

Java Guru has become a Castle Rock favorite. Serving coffee, food and wine. A full bar is available in the evenings as well. What I love about Java is it’s unique atmosphere. Couches, high bar seating, tables, and a lovely stage for music, comedy, poetry, jewelry. You name it. Java is the ONLY venue in Castle Rock where folks can come sing their songs and be seen in the ‘hood. The coffee is a bit inconsistent, and the food is fair. I go for the comfort and homey feeling.

Nice place to grab a cup of coffee. Its good coffee, and as DB noted fast service. We tried breakfast sandwiches here one morning they were mediocre. They also serve wine, and have a nice patio, so I had some hope I would find a cool place for a little night time entertainment. We stopped by last Saturday and there was a «Comedy Hypnotist» The crowd was boring, and the show was probably the un-funiest thing I have ever seen. So good place for some coffee, free wifi, and books. Not so much for nightlife or food.

Hey, I’m apt to try anything that’s not a Starbucks… We like Crowfoot Valley better, but Java Guru has a lot to offer and they are very quick to make everything right.
