Preformed food service hamburgers that are tasteless and greasy. The service sucks and the food is criminally overpriced. Not worth the trip even if your’e coming from across the street. No thanks.

Well, I guess all he beauty in Vermont has to end at some point. The place is a little obnoxious to the eye — trying to bring Coney Island to a beautiful scenic highway in the Green Mountains is, in my opinion, a huge mistake. Doubt seriously the locals appreciate the Fire Engine Red truck trailer turned Hot Dog Stand.
The service was the very definition of «Ho-​Hum». The owner just wants the season to end next week after Labor Day. This was sooooo obvious. She’s been beaten and I would almost give odds she doesn’t return in May 2016.
Then the food — eh. Vermont will never be known for hot dogs or hamburgers if this is the best they have to offer.
What a waste of time.

Good stuff… Great little burger and fry shack… I went with the Michigan Cheeseburger… Apparently Michigan means chili… Very good… Fries were great…

Roxie’s fries are a MUST for a summer treat if you are ever in Castleton/​Lake Bomoseen area!

Golden delicious and fried to perfection, these artery clogging pieces of potato come in ½ pint, pint (it comes in pints!) and quart Chinese food containers. You have the option of adding chili, gravy or cheese for a little more. However, I can testify that they are perfectly fine without adding anything else.
In addition to their regionally famous fries, Roxies offers burgers, hot dogs etc. Feeling particularly decadent (and obvious not counting calories) I ordered a very good chocolate shake. It was a little more sweet than I normally would like it, but it was very tasty nonetheless.
The fries and other goods are served out of walk up hot dog truck, so this is more of a take out place than sit down restaurant, although there is plenty of out door seating for when the weather is favorable.
