Avoid this urologist Dr. Sourjya Misra at Castro Valley whenever you can! Because this doctor will likely NOT respect your time or you as a patient! He was referred by a primary physician.
The first time I took my in-​law see this doctor per schedule but was told to go home — half hour after appointment time — because the doctor had «emergency» and had to re-​schedule. The clerk apologized and scheduled appointment the following week.
The second time we went there according to schedule, one hour after the scheduled appointment time, the clerk apologized again and told me «the doctor is late and still on his way to office». We start to get a little upset.
But the doctor didn’t seem mind about our feeling, and no sincere apology from him (for canceling appointment after we already there and being very late the second time). In stead, he complained about how he didn’t have any our medical record from this referral and how dis-​organized the referring primary physician organization was. We got stuck in-​between two physicians pointing fingers. Very un-​professional.
We did not proceed further, left office and won’t be back to this doctor anymore.
