Came to eat at this amazing place right before heading out of town after a bad experience in a Mexican restaurant and oh boy was it good! Everything was flavorful and tasty specially they’re beans were used to the melted cheese they sprinkle some parmesan type cheese(could be parmesan) and it gives the beans a different yet tasty flavor i wish i would have asked for a side of this cheese! Oh well maybe next time. Stay away from the salsa bar if your a wimp had me sweating and gasping for air throughout my meal! My kids loved they’re food too and surprisingly enough everything was priced fair. To sum it up: tasty food, decent service, good price

Favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Great margaritas and amazing home made Mexican food. Spicy corn sauce is life changing and all the seafood tostadas are fantastic. Highly recommend a trip there!

We heard about this place and gave it a try. Sunday afternoon was crowded but were seated fast. Great service and nice folks. I tried the Beef Taco and Enchilada with green sauce. Was very good. Wifey tried the Pork Tamale and that was great too. The chips and salsa were hella good. Nice little locals joint and we’ll return.

Good food. Good service. Crowded as hell on Saturday night. Strawberry margarita was good. Parking lot view. Nothing special.

I am still at my table writing this review while i wait for my check. So good!!! I had their special — beef strips and shrimp in a tomatillo sauce. It was too good. I say«too» good, because I ate until it hurt. $ 3.50 for a classic margi? Service was friendly. I will be back. Sooner than later!

What a great little Mexican restaurant! We went here for lunch on the recomendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. It was a big step above the usual Mexican fare. I had a chili relano and crispy taco which were excellent. My husband had chicken enchiladas that were also very tasty. Everything was served hot and fresh. The restaurant was crowded for lunch and it does not have much atmosphere so I think lunch there was a good choice. I am sure it is hopping at night.

My favorite Posole and huevos rancheros. Comfort food. love the potatoes served instead of rice. Staff are friendly, owners are wonderful.

I give it a three star rating because I have tried different plates here and not like them. Except for the carne en su jugo and the chorizo con queso.

Love the food, I’ve never been disappointed. The staff is friendly… prices are good. Between 7 to 12 dollars per entrée. Usually I get a chicken chime but this time I got a delicious torta… Yum!

My favorite Mexican food when in the Desert! This place has got everything, subprocuradora, Guerrero, habías, porches, abalorios, heptagonal barritas & even, boca grande encolerizado! Sometimes I have no idea exactly what I’ve ordered. All I know is that it’s really, really Bueno!

Drinks great. food Good and inexpensive. Service. sucks. Its really disapointing because we are locals that ate here regularly. To the point the server knew what we drink. But today. AND the last time we went it was so busy they ran back and forth to all tables(snowbirds) but ours. Both times we’ve felt overlooked. So time to head back to dining at la tablita. The few extra dollars we will spend on plates and drinks they make up for in better service. Maybe we will revisit salsas this summer when we as year round locals can get a lil more appreciation.

Alambres Chile verde Cocido. You can’t go wrong with any of these. I’m puzzled by the geometric plates. They don’t make sense to me. Big salsa bar with several options, hence the name. Service is spotty. You usually have to wait, because the location just isn’t all that big. If they had a bigger location, I’d bet they would make much more money. I would go more often, if I knew that I could get a seat.

This is an incredible alternative to trendy and pricey resorts and restaurants. Place is packed with locals which is always a plus. Food is authentic Mexican with clean flavors and awesome salsas… which is probably where the name came from. Small dining room, so you might have to wait, but well worth it. The ultimate hangover cure. Can’t wait to bring the kids next time.

I’m not a big reviewer but I had to take a moment to review Salsa’s. The food was absolutely wonderful. It was hard to decide on what to try but finally I decided on the large shrimp and octopus cocktail. I was definitely pleased with my choice, it was delicious and had plenty of shrimp. My husband had the Azteca Shrimp plate and he was blown away. He is not an easy one to please but he absolutely loved the food. His portion was also hefty and impressive as it was shrimp. Typically restaurants skimp on the seafood plates but this wasn’t the case at Salsa’s. Be warned though, the shrimp was really spicy! Even for a spicy food lover who always thinks the hotter the better. The location itself is small and cramped and the service is definitely lacking l but if you’re willing to look past that you’ll be treated to awesomely authentic Mexican food. We hope to return soon!

I give this place a 5 star because we got out of a Mexican restaurant called fresh agave which was horrible by the way, one of the waiters recommended this place, imagine that !! typical hole in the wall restaurant with great food and good attitude. If you’re looking for real Mexican food this is the place. Full bar with authentic Mexican food.

The place was packed, they ask us to wait 10 minutes for a table, 15 minutes later they gave the next avail table to a larger party who just arrived and asked us to wait even longer. …we left. Went to the new Tortillas up the street instead, they even have free WIFI!

I have been to Mexican food heaven, and it’s name is Salsas. Best taco salad I’ve ever had. Bacon wrapped shrimp with chiles was awesome too!

This review is strictly for the chile gueros, which I hadn’t noticed anyone else mention in the other reviews. I live in LA and would kill to find a place close to me that makes chile gueros this succulent and delicious. They aren’t on the menu so just tell the waitress you want them… they are reason enough to visit this cute little place over and over and over!!!

Really Good service. Always made sure we had chips and that our drinks were full. Good did not take long and was worth the wait. Overall favorite Mexican restaurant! Definitely coming again!
