Glass Block of Baltimore

For me customer service starts the moment you pick up the phone. Whoever answered the phone was not pleasant at all. He didn’t help me at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

After a recent break-​in we experienced through the old, 1960s era basement windows of our home several weeks ago, we decided it was finally time to opt for glass block. The company we went with — Glass Block of Baltimore, based out of Catonsville — is amazing and I want to recommend them to *everyone* looking for some nice glass block in their homes, too! GBoB’s Rob and Bobby are some of the most professional, caring contractors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Their prices were very competitive and more importantly, they even went out of their way to do extra work on our window project to make sure our windows were looking as perfect as possible. The final product couldn’t look better!

Instead of putting a new window in a shower (house design flaw) I decided to try glass blocks. I called another place and they had a similar price but wanted to charge for mileage to and from the job. That would have added almost $ 200 more…
I got a free estimate and a price that was several hundred dollars less then doing a new window. I was sold on price alone! They were also able to install within 2 weeks which I also really liked.
They came in and quickly ripped out the old window without breaking any tiles (some cracked but not horribly). It looks great from the outside while still allowing light and privacy.
The only thing I wish they would do, is finish the inside of the window, now I have to get someone else to fix it all up. None of that was a surprise they clearly let me know all that up front.
Very friendly service and prompt install. I would recommend to my friends for sure.
