This shop was large, with lots of decent inventory. The owner’s tastes in antiques don’t totally match mine (although she does seem to have a thing for German Shepherds — GSD antiques pepper the store), but I had a grand old time nosing around. Unfortunately, Magaline did not seem particularly interested in making a sale, as my attempts at price negotiation went nowhere.

A relatively large antique mall with lots of inventory and nooks and crannies to explore. Unfortunately not much of the inventory resonated with me, so I can’t say I’m a fan, but folks who like antiques and southern novelties will like it.
The staff were lively, helpful and, well, characters.

Add homophobic to the previous review and you have my experience at Magaline’s. Sad to see the stereotype of ignorant, bigoted Kentuckians being reinforced.
Spend your money elsewhere.
