only reason they are getting a 3 is because of the non organic side of things… I get it but if you guys went organic you would be killing the market!

I grew up coming here from 3 hours away and an hour away depending on what family members i was with… came here memorial weekend this year while on a camping trip and its so awome theres a store and restaurant now! The bacon i got was awsome and so were the beef sticks i got but inwas super dissapointed i couldnt get fresh sausage? Wth? The links are half the size as the ones i used to get from the old store and they were frozen… not fair! I expected to be able to buy all fresh… such a bummer

Wow!!! This is amazing! Clean, nice people, meat market, grilling it up, lil bit busy, but they have beer on tap. This is a must stop, awesome!

Breakfast pre cooked giving you a sandwich that does not taste any better than a frozen Jimmy Dean. Greasy nasty hash brown patty of the lowest quality. Never will return. Instant upset stomach.

You can tell this is the best thing in Cave Junction because there are customers all the time. I go here to buy meats. Their sausages are the best! The hot food is just okay. Not a fan.

Great Reuben and French dip! Everything on the menu is made hot and fresh to order. Quick service, line goes fast.

The food served was Luke warm and very bland. Anything that wasn’t meat was pretty meh. Will try some other entres later. Maybe I just chose poorly. Bonus… Very very affordable. $ 23 to feed 3 large dudes. A good reason to give it a second chance

I have eaten at Taylor’s for a number of years while traveling through Oregon. Their jerky and sausages are the best you’re going to find anywhere. I have started buying them to give as Christmas gifts. The food is also very good inside the store. Customer service is always pleasant. I highly recommend this place and suggest you try the hot land jaeger.

We stopped in for snacks on our day trip to Crescent City. I love beef sticks. Like the ones you get from the gas station. I know they are gross but they are so good. Anyways Taylor’s has over 10 different beef sticks all made in house. I got one of each to try and then they guy who was helping me talked me into some of their trail busters jerky. It’s really not that hard to upsell me. Then we ordered a few items from their hot food section a bacon and sausage burrito, biscuit and gravy and a breakfast sandwich. The hot food was delicious. So good and cheap. The beef sticks and jerky were ok. First off they need to be refrigerated which I wish they would have told me since I was getting them for a road trip. They also were not dry like typical beef sticks and jerky. I’d stop if I was in the area again but stick to the hot food.

VEGANSBEWARE!!! Don’t even walk on the same side of the street… this place has the power to convert. I watched a rabbit walk out of this place with a stick of jerky in its mouth. The service was fast and to the point so they can help the next customer. The deli is simple but delicious and fresh. You find a place to sit and feast. No floor servers, you pick up your plates and deliver to dirty dish tray. They have some local items… The price can’t be beat. A plate of Hobo potatoes and sausage, an enormous biscuit w/gravy and a cup of coffee for $ 5… Shut up. I can wait to eat there again… so far 3 days in a row for breakfast. If you like bossing servers around, being pampered and leaving a mess for someone else to clean up… keep walking, they sell lettuce 2 blocks down the street.

I have to start with the fact that I have NEVER been to Cave Junction, Oregon and I’ve never seen Taylor’s Sausage Country Store. My in-laws are avid Taylor’s sausage fans and have been ordering from them for years. Every time we go to Colorado, we get sent home with 3 – 4 packs of the pepper snack sticks. I am usually not a sausage fan. I won’t touch breakfast sausage, brat-wurst, Italian sausage, etc but I absolutely LOVE the pepper snack sticks. They are by far, my most favorite guilty pleasure and we have started ordering from Taylor’s every month. We haven’t had the change to try anything else, but seriously, order the pepper snack sticks, grab some fancy cheese and some wine, and you’ve got a perfect appetizer. Taylor’s…I love your sausage!

I ordered a polish sausage. It came out room temperature and the bun wasn’t warmed or toasted. The sausage itself was kind of tough. Atmosphere is quaint and there is a large selection of fresh, frozen and cured meats. Service was friendly. Not a terrible place for the middle of nowhere.

This review is specifically for their breakfast offerings, something that can be missed behind a wall of meat if not careful. While the majority of the offerings for breakfast are of the buffet variety, the food doesn’t appear to be old and nasty like a regular buffet. In fact, it appears freshly made. In addition those those selections, there are breakfast specials that are made on the spot. Mine today? The eggs benedict, served with fresh blueberries. Very nice touch. This is tough food, meaning it’s not going to be served in an atmosphere that you would want to stay for very long. However, if you can power past that, you will experience a great breakfast and may see some options for dinner sitting in their meat case.

Here’s the thing… The jerky? Damn good. The deli food? Disappointing. I sampled several of the jerkies and loved the juiciness of their famed Trailbuster jerky and their newer sheet-style jerky(forget the name). I bought a pound’s worth and hope it lasts through the week. On the deli side I got a reuben and side salad which were both limpy and lackluster. My friend’s small chef’s salad was huge with giant rolls of sliced deli meat, which was probably the better option but I was going for a meat-based meal. I’ve heard from someone that the burgers are pretty good but a former worker there told me everything was really about the same, so I’m not too excited to return for that part of the store. Five-star jerky, two-star deli.

On the way down to the Redwoods, we stopped by for jerky souvenirs to take back to friends. If you like meat, they have lots of choices — frozen and fresh. They also have locally made honey, bread, ice cream, and pickles. The restaurant has a veggie burger and a veggie sandwich for the vegetarians(like myself). The batter on the onion rings was perfect.

I’ve never not enjoyed this place. It’s always a great place to stretch your legs on the way to or from the coast. We stopped on both ways, first for breakfast and next for lunch. Breakfast treated us to a warm cinnamon roll, eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. I wasn’t a huge fan of the gravy, but the biscuit was good. The eggs Benny came out with hash browns and both were amazing. Hash browns had bacon and sausage in it and the ham on the Benny wasn’t dry and had tons of flavor. It was amazing! For lunch we grabbed some jerky for the road and some of their«killer mac n cheese». The mac had big chunks of ham in it and was full of rich, cheesy flavor. The trail busters jerky is wonderful, but all of the jerky and sausage is great. You really can’t go wrong
