Incredibly overprice. Why the need to charge 25.00+ per car or 7.50 a person. iust wow. Beak and Skiff is free and just as much entertainment?

Great service, scrumptious cider, and a relaxing atmosphere. The have a nice variety of ciders and a couple of beers on tap. Very kid friendly as well. Worth the trip!

This place brings back the memories! Every fall and winter we used to get our pumpkins and later our Christmas tree here. Always with a free cup of cider or hot chocolate to warm up afterward. We would explore the gift shop, buy delicious cheese and fudge, maybe even do the corn maze and call it a day! Now, don’t buy pumpkins here, they charge by the pound and it’s exorbitant! But still go for the experience! I went a few weeks ago during their fall festival so it was pretty crowded but we got free cider, had lunch and apple fritters, bought 8 year old cheddar and tasted a sample of homemade hard cider. Apparently there is also a winery on the premises which I would love to check out some day! $ 7 per person gets you a pass for the whole season, which I wouldn’t be able to use but would have been great if I still lived there!

I’m going to try and be fair with my review of Critz’s, as I have seen them grow from a small farm with pumpkins and Chrismas trees to a full blown cidery and tourist destination. If you are looking for seasonal fun, Critz’s no doubt can provide this in spades. They have blueberries in the summer, pumpkins/hayrides/cider donuts in the fall, and have Christmas trees and wreathes for the holiday season. Their hard cider tasting room is pretty cool. While the sample size cups are not more than a sip or two, you get an idea of what the various ciders taste like to help you make a decision to get a full cup or take a bottle home. The sampling room can get a bit crowded on weekends, so I suggest going during the week if you can. The hot cider donuts are amazing and probably the highlight of a Fall trip here. Do not miss these. The reason why I have trouble giving Critz’s a 4 or 5 star rating is the price that they charge patrons. In the past, parking was free and you paid for things you wanted. Last year, they charged by the car. This year they charge by person. $ 7.50 per person to be exact(adults). What does this get you? The opportunity to try out the corn maze, see the animals, and listen to music(if they have it that day). Other than that, everything else is for sale or comes with a price tag. For a agro-tourist destination, I feel this is overcharging. You will get a sheet granting you access through the rest of the season with your paid admission… but in reality, how many people go pumpking picking more than once a season? If you go multiple times, than this is probably great for you. However, for once per year visitors, they should have a different, cheaper option for admission. ALong with admission charges, the prices for the prime draws here(pumpkins/Christmas trees) are higher than you will pay elsewhere. I’m not sure why this is, but it seems the bigger that Critz’s gets, the more expensive it becomes. Disappointing. All in all, I will continue to go once or twice per year, but not without feeling like I could be getting a better deal elsewhere.

We had a really good time at Critz Farms with our 3 year old and 1 year old along with a few friends & family. Tractor rides, cows, goats, donkeys, pumpkin patch, slides and plenty to do! A good time for the family.
