Olcé Pizza Grille

First time trying Olce this past Saturday after hearing about it in the area and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I wanted a quick stop, but wanted to sit down for our meal too and with their outdoor seating this place hit the spot. Ordered a simple Margherita pie and it was delicious. I love how the pies are an irregular shape, it shows craftsmen ship and authenticity. The crust was thin and crispy and overall all the perfect flavors. Definitely coming back and splurging on more than one pie!

Recently dined here for our first time. We made reservations ahead of time based on reviews we read. When we arrived, it seemed busy, but there were plenty of open tables. We started off by sharing the wedge salad. I’d give the salad an «A». The lettuce was fresh and nice and crisp. There wasn’t an over abundance of blue cheese and the chunk of blue cheese wrapped in bacon was a nice touch. There was also a generous amount of bacon crumbled on top of the salad. For our pizza, we ordered the Picante and the Dennis. We enjoyed both just about equally. I would have like to have had more pineapple on the Dennis, but it was still tasty. I deducted one star simply because the service was lacking at times (even though not all of the tables were full) and we were not given any pickles (which I thought were complimentary). Overall, I would return again.

Very child friendly, we went for an early dinner on a Friday and there were a few couples dining with their little kids.
Pizzas are big enough to share. 1 pizza can easily feed 2 people who aren’t starving. We opted to try 2 and have leftovers.
Jersey pizza — bell peppers and onions! Decent amount of toppings, just wish there was more cheese. Sauce was tasty though and the crust was unique.
Green pizza — loved the olive oil, Gruyère, and spinach. The pie was extremely flavorful. Wish this was slightly less cheesy though, would have been great to add the excess cheese to the Jersey!
Oh and the pickles they give you at the beginning are delicious!

This is up there with the best pizza I have ever had. Vetri beware. This is at least as good. A little bit of a hike, wish they were in Flourtown but a nice drive anyway. My only nit picking would be that the shrimp scampi pizza was a little wet, got soggy easily, but the salads were great, the pizzas we had were perfect. We will be back many times, with wine in hand.

The best pizza! Their Gluten Free pizza crust is even delicious and flaky like their regular crust. We love this place especially the green pizza, the autumn and the tinga and they make a good Cesar salad too. The owner and the rest of the staff are always friendly and attentive. We had to move an hour away and have made special trips back to the area just to eat here.

Excellent nosh — freshly prepared, the owner will come out to chat, and servers are very friendly & attentive. And the dessert pizzas, especially ‘s’mores pie, is super fantastic. Still don’t know about shucking out $ 100 for a kiss from Fernando — better be one helluva kiss

We can not say enough great things about Olce. It is our favorite «date night» restaurants and even the kids love it. Kevin and his staff go above and beyond with their service and making you feel like part of the family. Just wish they had the corn pizza year round, but makes me look forward to summer.

I heard really great things about this place but I was kind of underwhelmed when we went recently. The décor is nice but the lighting is all wrong for dinner. The pizza for good, but is more of flat bread pizza which is not my thing personally. Service was fast so that is a plus if you have kids which we do.

Try the BLG pizza. It is excellent! Leeks and bacon make for a great flavor combo. Staff is wonderful. If you want a beer or a drink, you have to bring your own but the great food makes that a moot point.

Best pizza ever! Thin crust, artisan style. Always fresh and delicious. My favorite is the seasonal corn pizza. Never disappointed when I try a different pizza here. This is the first place I eat at when I come home. BYOB too.

Best pizza around! My husband and I love coming here – great food, great service, nice ambiance, just an all around great place. My absolute favorite is the corn pizza. The mix of sweet, salty, rustic is unbelievable. My husband is a carnivore so he loves the meat pizza. The salads are delicious too, we always get the house or the wedge. Other pluses: it’s byob, and the homemade pickles are delicious. They are so tasty that I took a picture of the recipe on the wall so I can make them at home! What a gem! I always look forward to our next visit.

This place is out of this world. The chef and owner has created some seriously unique and wonderful recipes. Every time I have been there there has been a special pizza and it’s always out of this world. Here’s what I’ve had:
B.L.G. — I have dreams about this it’s so good. I want to start dating this pizza.
Autumn — A pizza with brussel sprouts. Surprisingly good.
Bianco — Who thinks to put pistachio’s on a pizza? This guy does and it works!
Picante — More of what you’d call traditional toppings, but executed oh so well.
Corn Pizza — Yeah. Just get it.

One of my favorite pizza places around! My fiancé and I try to come here at least once every two weeks and when we don’t we desperately crave Olce. The owner could not be nicer! (on the phone and in person)
The thin crust, various unique toppings and the PICKLES. So good. My favorites are the corn pizza (only available in the summer) and the veal meatball pizza with kalamata olives. The prices are extremely reasonable.
I need to stop by for my Olce fix ASAP ;)

stopped in for the first time after driving by many times, and will be back. What a great idea to have 3 size salads to choose from, and the $ 3 size was plenty when you add a pizza. The Caesar with anchovy was a nice dressing without being too creamy. The fresh greens with Arugula was fresh and also had a nice dressing.
Split a meat pizza which was plenty. Great taste, fresh toppings and nice thin crust. :
Glad I made a reservation for lunch because by noon they were quite busy.
They take all credit cards, BYO, and plenty of free parking.

Absolutely amazing pizza. If you are looking for the best quality pizza search no more. Family friendly or even great for a date night or a night out with friends. Great atmosphere. Great service. You can tell ownership cares for their restaurant. Try it!

I unfortunately haven’t been here in a while. But I used to be a regular!
They have fantastic pizzas and they’re perfect size for a personal pizza. I always have a little extra to bring home so it’s like two meals in one:)
OH, AND THE PICKLES! They make their own pickles and they are TO DIE FOR!

Amazing, incredible, outstanding pizza and big, super fresh salads. Terrible service (completely inattentive, refused to seat us outside even though tables were open, hard to get refills)… STILL WORTH IT!!! Corn pizza is a stand out. Need to get the s’mores pizza next time…

Not sure how the pizza is… we have been waiting over an hour for our food! Other guests arrived after us and received their food before we did. Terrible service!

a friend took me to Olce’s and being from Chicago I was skeptical but to my surprise Olce does pizza well! Best pizza in the western Philly burbs! Thin crust just the right amount of sauce and any topping you can imagine. Try their corn pizza it is marvelous!

For my 400^th review, I’ve been saving one of my absolute favorites, Olce Pizza Grille! My wife and I first visited this pizza heaven last winter without much prior knowledge, other than Unilocal reviews. We’ve now been between 10 – 15 times, have eaten 13 of the 18 pizzas on the menu, and have tried every single special they’ve offered during the last 7 months. There has not been a single pizza that we have not enjoyed, regular menu or special.
Here’s a list of the pizzas I’ve really liked a lot, most of which are pictured on Unilocal by me or someone else with their ingredients.
Margherita (had 2x), Picante, BLG, Autumn, Roma, and Dennis. A lot of great pizzas on this list, but they’re some of the more simple ones they make.
Now, here’s a list of pizzas I’ve LOVED.
Green (insanely rich and creamy), Meat (their veal meatballs are awesome), Bianco (one of the oddest pizzas I’ve had, but the pistachios, ricotta, and rosemary oil work great together), Chicken (I’ve never seen so much bbq chicken on a pizza before), Tinga (incredible flavor to their chicken on this), Fernando (this is the ultimate mexican pizza, we’ve had it 3x now!), and the Shrimp Scampi (my personal favorite because of how buttery and lemony the pizza is… we’ve had this 3 – 4 times now!).
We’ve also really enjoyed the infamous Corn Pizza and had that one twice. The Clam Pizza on Fridays during Lent was perfect. And the shockingly delicious «Diet Pizza» that had mac & cheese, hot dogs, and crumbled potato chips was another favorite.
Some other parts of the menu we’ve enjoyed would be the Meatball Parm Sandwich (can’t reiterate this enough, the meatballs are good!), the pickles, and the Antipasto which was enormous and probably shouldn’t have been consumed by just two people with their own pizza on the way.
Finally, some final things you should know. This is a BYOB (yippee!!), but it is also very tiny :-(. If you are planning on dining here, especially on a Friday or Saturday, you better go to their website and make a reservation (go here:
). I don’t think there’s another way to make a reservation and I’ve read too many horror stories on here about people being upset they got turned away from sit-​down service at Olce. Even if tables are unoccupied by a body when you arrive they may still be occupied by a reservation that is coming in and Olce doesn’t mess around with not honoring reservations. Don’t make that mistake and post a bad review because you weren’t prepared.
Olce Pizza Grille is amazing. It’s a diamond in the pizza-​rough that is 90% of the PA pizza business. They put love, creativity, and top notch ingredients into every pizza they make. I’m so happy we’ve found it and that we live only a few miles away. Thanks Olce!

(3.5) ~ Good overall food & service. Note: Their crust is a «cracker» type crust, which is crispy, & we prefer a «chewy» type crust.
OUR PIZZA MENU (Take-​out):
* Corn Pizza (seasonal) = (3.75) Good & Unique… needed more bacon though…;)
* Margarita Pizza = (3.5) good… but kind of soggy.
* S’mores Pizza = (3.25) pretty good… but too decadent.

Who would have thought corn pizza could taste sooooo good. The s’mores pizza was chocolate heaven

Nous avons testé le service «take away» de cette «pizzeria». Pour 5 pizzas, on nous a dit de passer 30′ après et à l’heure dite les pizzas étaient prêtes. Malgré l’heure (6H30 PM), le restaurant était bondé…Les 5 pizzas que nous avons commandées (maragrita, jersey, peperoni) étaient vraiment bonnes et s’approchaient du goût franco-​européen sans toutefois l’égaler. Mais pour une pizza US, c’était bon. Ils devraient mettre à disposition des clients (sur place ou à emporter) l’huile piquante traditionnelle. Les prix sont raisonnables et il faudra tester le restaurant maintenant…
