I have been to this park three times already, but this morning I was ready to leave when this dog attacked my dog. I was so scared i’m not sure if i’ll take him again. It’s a big park but you just never know what type of dog will be there.

This dog park wasn’t well thought out. The fence is low and sagging in some spots, not to mention that a small dog could get under it in many spots. It is also very close to a busy road. The parking is not that close to the entrance, although there were 3 handicapped spaces that were closer. Lots of dirt and a big slope so many tend to hang around at the top of the hill by the entrance instead of using the whole area. I was also told that coyotes are seen frequently outside the very short fence of the dog park, but I did not see any the day we went.

Its nice to have a park near my house. There is alot of room for the dogs to play. There is alot of dirt at this place though and its not very scenic, as compared to other dog parks in the area. My dog doesn’t seem to mind the lack of scenery and loves playing here.

David A. Lorenz Regional Park is located on the SE corner of County Line and Colorado Blvd. east of the 7 – 11 store. It has approximately 5 synthetic turf fields. 2 multipurpose fields and one 300‘ baseball field and a BMX Track! We play a number of lacrosse games here year round but I see flag football and soccer routinely playing on these fields as well. This park is a great destination as you have relatively easy parking, nice fields and gorgeous views of the front range! The fields are wonderful year round as the turf holds up to Colorado weather. An ideal resource for those who enjoy sports in the great outdoors! :-)
