Marianne is simply the best lactation consultant around. She’s patient, caring, kind and infinitely knowledgeable about all things breastfeeding related. She helped me through the entire journey breastfeeding both of my kids and it was not easy. I always knew she was a phone call or text away to give me the support I needed to keep going. I always tell friends that are pregnant to call her the minute the baby arrives to get started on the right track from day one!

Marianne is one of the most amazing woman I have ever met. The struggles with Breastfeeding are real but she help me overcome any issues or discomfort I was having and left me feeling empowered and confident about the future. Seriously, I could not have done it without her guidance and words of encouragement.
The first time I met her, she came over to my house for a lactation consultation. I was having some pain Breastfeeding after a week. It’s amazing how even the most subtle adjustments to latching, positioning, etc can make a world of difference.
She came with a scale and was able to tell me exactly how much milk my little one consumed by weighing in before and after. She also showed me how to work my pump — something at the time, I didn’t even considered (new mommy brain :-))
The best part of Marianne is that she loves her job and it shows in every inch of her being. Not to mention, she has a medical/​nursing background in addition to her lactation consulting. She is best of both worlds. She is someone I recommend to all my new mommy friends and I truly feel lucky to have found her.

My lil peanut entered this world a little premature and only 4.8 lbs. I was consumed with putting weight on him. And with «triple feedings», I was exhausted and feeling unsure of what I was doing. I came to Marianne not sure if I could continue on breastfeeding. She has a way about her that puts you at ease and instills confidence, which what new mom couldn’t use more of?!
I hear so many mothers say, «I wasn’t able to breastfeed.» But many of these ladies did not seek help. Don’t give up, see Marianne! She makes things so convenient… she’ll do house calls, answers questions by text. She even runs a support group through Belly Bliss.

Personalized and perfect. Marianne left us feeling informed, confident, and comfortable feeding our daughter. She came highly recommended from our pediatrician and we’re highly recommending her to new and repeat parents alike. We made an appointment, she came to our home and brought all the equipment she might need to help us better assess (digital scale by grams for pre/​post weight), feed (diagrams and tools to help teach and facilitate quality latching, feeding, etc), and pump (various sized latches to supplement some Medala equipment) for our daughter. She started with a verbal assessment — talking through our labor, schedule at home and successes and frustrations with feeding. She physically helped with feeding and pumping and offered tips and advice that she’d learned over her 15+ years of lactation consulting. She left us feeling informed, confident, and comfortable taking on the feeding of our daughter. After our home meeting, she followed up the next day checking in via text. She has been available through text to answer any questions we have regarding feeding — no matter how trivial we feel they might be. I can’t recommended her enough! She cares and it shows.
