Dr. Gosling is the best, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, he knew all sorts of info about my weird eye disorder that everyone else rarely can speak on. And the staff here is amazing and helpful. They have a customer for life in me!

I’ve been going to Optical Matters and seeing Dr. Gosling regulary since 2009. He is always thorough and caring, yet the appointments are quick and efficient. I had to go to other eye doctors when I was out of state for college and Dr. Gosling definitely stands out.

Getting glasses is not at the top of my fun list — but Optical Matters definitely made the experience has best as it could be.
First off — they take most insurance plans so I was out the door with a new pair of ‘nice’ glasses and my exam for under $ 25. Additionally, I had my glasses in less than a week.
The glasses selection was endless — weather you wanted classic to trendy (OR) budget friendly to ‘price is no object’.
I definitely recommend checking Optical Matters out if you are in the market for new eye wear.

Dr. Gosling is awesome. He’s very focused on reducing eye strain and not over-​correcting. He’s actually reduced my prescription the last several visits and I’m down to correction in just one eye; the other is seeing 20⁄20. He’s the best. I drive clear across town and it’s worth it. The frame selection is fantastic, by the way, and everyone is helpful with fashionable critiques. You don’t even have to take your best friend along!

I’m another of the multiple year customers of Optical Matters & will keep it that way. Dr. Gosling is a master at his craft, does an incredibly complete exam taking time to let you know everything he’s doing. The staff is attentive, if sometimes a bit flighty & forgetful, but the overall experience is good.
If you want something more than the discount store eye exams that have become the norm, I highly recommended Optical Matters & Er. Gosling.

New year new glasses!
I’ve been a satisfied customer of Optical Matters for three years. This little storefront near SouthGlenn has a very helpful staff, a decent variety frames & options, and quick service. Whenever my glasses need repairs or adjustment, a quick drop-​in is all that’s needed.
Dr. Gosling’s examination is thorough and detailed, comparing my past results to see how I’ve changed over time.
Finally, they made a mistake on my last set of frames, omitting Photogrey from the order. A quick call, followed by an apology & a promise to make it right ensued.
Optical Matters is a great choice for a locally-​owned, friendly shop for all my vision care needs.
