If you think egg, think The Egg & I. A wide variety of egg preparations to choose from. Chances are you’ll will like anything you pick. The omelettes are really filling, the breads and the side potatoes that come with it are good too. The only downside is the wait on weekends. There are other options as well — waffles and pancakes. Have to go again to try them. Ideal place for Sunday brunch!

Somewhere back in January my hubby and I were in between two doctors appt and we had about 45 minutes until the next, we ordered eggs Benedict and even before we could start a conversation we had our meals! The waitress was amazing and the food was soooo good!
We just went this Mornin for a second time with a friend of ours who did us a big favor and we wanted to treat him and once again, prompt And very happy staff and I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a break, a pick me up and smiling people who like what they do

01÷24− went to breakfast at the Egg and I off Yosemite in Englewood. My husband and I normally have enjoyed Egg and I– not so much yesterday. The service was horrible. Not only did it take about 10 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us, but with attitude. When she brought our coffee and orange juice — said nothing– just dropped of and walked away. Then once we got our food, brought by a different person (which was fine– she was very nice). Our original server did not come back anytime soon to see if we were pleased with our food– which I was not. The next time we seen her is when she brought the check. I would think she notice my food was barely eaten. My overall thought as she did not give a SH%#!

Close to my denver office and hotel i stay at when in town
They do benedicts — notably a montery bacon green chile on corn patty in lieu of english muffin
Eggs are poached — and done right — i am picky about eggs
Coffee is ok but my taste buds are preferential to Peet’s
For breakfast it hits all the marks
Fast seating efficient — no waiting for server — food is fresh and quick turn around when ticket is fired —

The food was pretty good. The service wasnt. The waitress had to be reminded to bring things and flagged down to get the check. I had the deluxe egg sandwich and added avocado (highly recommend) and my wife had the Green Chili Chicken Hash. Mine was great but hers required a side of chili to help with the dryness. It’s very starchy so it wasn’t unexpected.

The food my wife and I ate was excellent. The reason I am giving a 3 is because of the service. Once they take your order and drop it off you might as well be invisible. I had a glass of water and cream that I could not get refilled for 10 minutes. Now I realize they were fairly busy, but I watched 3 people stand around doing nothing during this time. Additionally, the seats in this place we’re extremely uncomfortable. It’s not often that I leave a restaurant with a full belly and sore butt. The prices are ok. All they need is better customer service.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Was looking to have a lighter meal so I ordered the Vera Cruz chicken & avocado omelette which also came with raisin toast and fresh fruit.
The omelette was exactly what I was looking for; light and delicious. The raisin toast went well with a little butter and jam and the fruit was quite fresh.
The service was very good. Our server attentive and courteous.

While a pretty standard breakfast place comparable to many others, their menu is more inclusive and offers a wider variety of the typical meals. My favorite is the raspberry granola pancake, which I’ve ordered every time since discovering it. The service can be hit or miss, depending on how busy it is, and honestly, our orders are never 100% right the first time (we don’t get anything complicated — sides are often wrong and the cooking of the eggs as well) — though it always gets fixed quickly and the staff is always very nice.
If you’re a coffee lover, don’t consider anything other than the Dark Roast. It’s extra, but you’ll feel like you’re drinking real coffee instead of hot water.

I got the basic breakfast which included a muffin; thought I’d keep it simple. Waitress forgot part of order and just kinda gave me a look when i mentioned it.
The bacon had to have been cooked last week, cold, hard and shouldn’t have even been put on the plate.

Wow! I haven’t been to an Egg&I in a really long time. I didn’t remember what it was like. I came in just me and my 4 kids ages 10 and under. They offered us the big booth and we were seated immediately. (Breakfast hour on a Friday.) When I saw the menu I was worried… 1 wheat pancake? But the portions were awesome and every kid finished their food and felt satisfied. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was OUTSTANDING! Our server, Gema, treated us SO kindly… She was very professional and patient… It felt like an upscale restaurant! We were welcomed and comfortable and I can’t say enough about our positive experience here!!!

Had Egg & I in Las Vegas, and we were happy. Same with Denver’s. Very kid friendly with lots of high chairs available, coloring, and kids menu. Service and food were great, and we will return again.

Stopped by here since Delectable Egg had too long of a wait. Food was good but they didn’t have any gluten free bread options :(. Just had the two egg breakfast with bacon, potatoes, and English muffin. Others had an egg white veggie omelet and the cheese burger. The service was very good but we missed our regular spot at Delectable Egg. It just didn’t have the same ambiance and feeling like you were dining with family and friends.

I can’t get enough of this place. I have been coming to the Egg and I ever since they opened many years ago. They have great consistency between each location. I always look forward to getting the chance to eat here. This time around I had the Green Chili Chicken Hash! Super good!
