We called Jimmy’s up for a little get together on a Saturday night — Jimmy’s exceeded my expectations, but in fairness, those expectations were pretty low. Jimmy’s seems to be kept afloat by a broad menu and fair prices, but the fact is, nothing about it is terribly impressive. The pizza was decent, but too greasy to be terribly impressive. The service is polite enough, but plodding, especially when the whole staff is caught up watching Grease(I mean I can’t fault them, it was«Beauty School Dropout», which is great.) I wish I could say I had sampled more of their menu, but the generous-but-greasy pizza portions were leaving us all entirely full.

Great pizzeria! I work in the area and find myself constantly ordering from this establishment. It is quick and always fresh. I HIGHLYRECOMMEND trying the fiesta salad, it is extraordinary. The portion sizes are rather large too, so you will be fine ordering a small.

The best pizza in the world is actually found in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There is simply no pizza in the world like it(not in Italy, not in the US, not in any other state in Brazil). BUT, as someone who has tried some of the world’s best pizzas, Jimmy’s pizza is actually outstanding. It is not as great as Sao Paulo, but it is better than all the pizzas I have had in NYC and Long Island, as well as California, Florida, Massachusetts, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Arizona, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Nevada. Jimmy’s pizza’s flavor not only of the crust, which is excellent, but the toppings and the variety of the toppings, including the fact that you can divide the pizza into more than one topping on each side, is phenomenal. The ambiance is just plain, simple, and ordinary — it is a place you are better off carrying out than eating in. They also deliver locally. Believe me, I am a true foodie, who rarely eats pizza. This pizza is definitely worth a try. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is simply the ambiance, I wish it was a little bit more cozy and presentable. But it does the job.

Ordered 3 pies and lots of garlic knots for 12 people, 2 hours ago and just got the order. We called twice and they said they were putting new pies in for us but they did not. The pizza was luke warm and obviously had just been put back in the oven for 5 min because they were dry and overdone. The staff said the manager was pushing other orders ahead of us but regardless of what happened they obviously don’t care about their take out business.

2 hour wait for burned garlic knots and pizza that was barely warmed. Called them 3 times to check on the order with no apologies until the delivery person arrived. Wish I could leave NO stars

I know there are tons of Pizzerias out there and if you haven’t been back to Jimmies recently I urge you to come back ASAP! Jimmies has really stepped it up not only with their pizza but with their service, atmosphere and other food too! I love their pizza and sandwiches! You’ve really gotta give it a try. I’m not giving it 5 stars because their delivery can run a bit long… But in their defense they’ve been busy for a good reason!

Been coming here for 30 years. Food improved dramatically when ownership changed for latest time around 2013. Some thoughts: 1. Pizza: plain is always good but try the specialty slices, too. 2. Mussels: yes, their mussels are tasty. Great sauce though the mussels themselves are likely from a frozen package. 3. Hot antipasta: includes shrimp, baked clams(whole), broccoli, eggplant rollitini, and more. Really good especially for a pizza shop. 4. Service: always friendly and run by local folks. 5. Bonus– try the fried calamari. It’s quite good. Overall a dependable location for lunch or dinner and great for takeout meals.

Everyone absolutely raved about the quality of the food we catered from Jimmy’s Centerport today for our office lunch. We ordered Penne ala Vodka, Eggplant Rolatini, Grilled Chicken Primavera, Caesar Salad, Fried Calamari and Garlic Knots. Everything was fresh, expertly prepared and so delicious. They delivered on time, set up everything for us and even included extra sauce for all the dishes. Highly recommend. Thank you Chuck and Kyle for impressing our staff.

Love this place since it has been under new ownership. Their greek salad slice is unique and delicious. I really like their entrees too; my favorite being the chicken parmigiana although I wish their chicken cutlets were thinner.

New management as of 5÷25÷13. Gave the new Jimmy’s one star for the 2 dishes we had. I phoned in my regular pickup order of sausage and pepper pizza pop and an eggplant pizza pop for my wife. I was surprised when I walked in, everything was different. Mostly new, total missed the new management sign. Brought the pops home and could tell right any it was not going to be good. Unlike the plumb cheese drooling pop Greg would make. It was thin and flat. Tasted different too, then I notice no onions and no peppers(no wonder it was thin only half was there). This is some kind of sacrilege. But I had the best pop, my wife’s eggplant literally had 2 slices of eggplant. As if they ran out and didn’t want to tell us. We are very disappointed; Jimmy’s is an institution here in Centerport. Partly because of the distance to the next Pizza parlor, and because this is where the folks walk up to eat and socialize. It’s a shame things seem to always change for the worst. Like the other store here in Centerport that have changed hands for the worst, I will be driving to Greenlawn and Broadway Pizza.

The eggplant parm is delicious, and the people couldn’t be nicer. Glad this place is around!

We tried the margarita pizza and loved it. Since its made with fresh diced tomatoes and herbs instead of the usual tomato sauce and mozzarella, I was concerned my 11 year old son would turn his nose up at it. Not to fear… He ate three slices, and now its his new favorite. I also tried a Greek salad made with feta cheese, it was fresh and very tasty — much better than I would have expected from a local pizza place. Staff is friendly and my order(which was ordered online) was ready on time. I would recommend. Let’s face it, there’s a pizza place on every corner on Long Island but that margarita pizza was different and gives them the extra star. The margarita was a little more than your average large pie $ 20 range), but you can see why and I thought it was worth it.

I think that they have a fairly solid slice here, decent cheese and some good specialty slices. Not too bad.
