While visiting my son at Clemson, his car began to smoke. With only a few hours before I had to leave I took his car to Big V Automotive and told them my situation. They diagnosed the problem on the spot and fixed it before I had to leave town. Not only do I feel comfortable sending my son back there, I would recommend them to any of his friends. Courteous, fast and very reasonable!

I went there to check for one problem with my car… They told me that they found the problem with the battery contact. Big V auto charged me $ 69.26 total to fix the problem by cleaning the battery wire… Man! How much does it cost to change one new battery??? Worse is coming. The next day, the same problem happened. And I went to Big V auto, and I was told that they need more money to check the problem and it might take a few hours, and one hour costs $ 50. What the F!!! I went to another shop and found that it was with my alternator. So I changed the alternator and solved the problem… After all, I spent $ 69 in Big-V for doing NOTHING…

Went there a week or two ago and was happy with the great service. The owner is very nice and was the one who worked on my car. You pay about $ 63 just to have him look at the car and then parts and additional labor is added to the price. My car was worked on starting that day and was quickly finished. When I went to pick it up, he told me what was wrong, what he did to fix it and some potential problems that might come up in the future(e.g., if your car doesn’t start, this may need to be replaced, or if this happens, don’t worry, just do this…). Also, it helps that the Red line CATBUS stops maybe 30 feet away from the auto shop, so you can easily get to and from there without having someone to drive you around. PLUS, he gave me a t-shirt and frisbee for free. Awesome!
