Good, Fast, Cheap (Pick two) I’d say good and fast is how I’d describe recent
$ 8,600 furnace and AC install. Amana brand is quality, and this is the second time I’ve had ABC do an install for me (two houses). This is a family company, with long term employees. What impressed me most was the painstaking effort to size make-​up air for the furnace, precise measurement of sq. footage, numerous options, included in the quote. In the five day install which included water heater and some additional work they were polite, responsive, and professional.

Had this company out in June to fix my a/​c. They put in a new part and then I had them put in a digital thermostat. Almost $ 300 in parts and labor but all was running well. Until this week. No a/​c again. Called ABC and they came. Out of coolent. Might be a leak. Find and fix the leak for $ 300 – 600. «Why didn’t he notice a leak last time?» Guy shrugs. Nice. «We could just fill it up again but it may leak out in a few days or a few months.» Yeah, I would bet on which of the two it is. I had planned to use this compnay to convert my wood fireplace into gas. Don’t think I want this company working on gas lines in my house. What if they miss a leak again? Where are the businesses you can count on?
