Zero stars. Long hold times, they want you to set up payments although by the time their bill comes thru, your deductible will be met. Go anywhere else but here.

Like all others, I’m experiencing the same billing pains. After being told I would need to shell out close to $ 500 for one MRI after already having had to make pay arrangements for a prior that only cost $ 300. I call BCBS only to be told that there was a nominal CO-​pay. What shady business is this? It’s terrible to think that a business supporting the healthcare industry would be willing to add financial pain to the physical experience. Shame on you.

Mary, my technician was very kind. She was very knowledgable and patient (bad shoulder can make positioning me a challenge). Least painful mammogram I have had. Also, I was called back at my appt time to the minute. Was able to get a Saturday a.m. Appointment which I always appreciate.

ZERO stars! Seriously, do yourself a favor and find another imaging center. I was told by my doctor’s office to call this place to schedule an appointment for my ultrasound. I did so and was on hold for 29 minutes before I hung up. I called back, selected a different option in hopes of getting a hold of an actual person which worked; I got a hold of someone at their central office. I explained my situation and she said she would try to call them. She waited for 27 minutes and then came back on the phone with me and said she didn’t know what they were doing or why they weren’t answering and she didn’t know what to tell me. She said she held the line until it actually hung up on her. I told her I guess I would have to go to a different imaging place and she agreed and apologized because she said there was nothing she could do for me.

After trying to schedule an appointment 3 times and being disconnected after hitting «1» — I finally got a human being that transferred me to the right location. I was put on hold for over 30 minutes, then disconnected. I called back and got a snarky, rude guy that hung up on me after I asked him NOT to put me on hold. Really? — Is this any way to run a business? Maybe I don’t have a choice (my insurance company requires I go there) — but eventually the service will affect whether or not patients will use this company. If I broke my leg in front of their door, I would walk to another imaging facility.

I took the advice of others who left reviews and called BCBS to find out what I should pay for a diagnostic mammo at my appt today. I was told by Simon Med that I will owe $ 310 today. BCBS says that is the amount that remains to meet my deductible for the year. The exact amount due cannot be known without billing codes. The billing codes then reveal the «allowable» amount contracted by my particular plan. In my experience, that will probably be less than $ 310, but I guess Simon Med would rather owe the patient money than vice versa.

This company is shady! The lady at the front desk said my insurance didn’t pay for any of my diagnostics. I paid the total bill. I receive a EOB stating my insurance paid 100%. I did NOT get a refund until I called to ask for it. DOUBLE CHECK your benefits before trusting this company. I gave it 2 stars because the staff was nice.

I had an appointment tonight at 9 o’clock. I was to be here at 8:30 to check in. I received a call at 7 o’clock from Rachel asking if I could come in early since they had a cancellation. I arrived at 7:30…only to find the door locked and no one at the business. I tried calling the phone number on the door… in fact I tried calling every Simon Med phone number in the Valley… but they close at 5 o’clock per their ubiquitous recording.
It is now 8:50 and no one has arrived. I am beyond angry.
No caller ID from Rachel’s phone call. Who does this???

Well after reading all the negative reviews about Simon Med Im happy that I get to write a positive one. I scheduled a very early appointment and the doors opened at exactly 7am. I was greeted with a smile and a good morning. Once my paperwork was filled out I was immediately called back. I had two procedures scheduled back to back and was in an out in less that 40 minutes. Thank you ladies in the office for being quick and efficient.

SimonMed, change your policy for X-​rays. Having to wait 1 – 2 hours because you only accept walk-​ins is seriously ridiculous. People work and can’t spend all day because of poor planning on your part.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was told by the office I could make a reservation for Saturday. It’s an hour past my appt. when I asked the unpleasant lady at the front she said I don’t know why they tell you that you can make an appt. we take walk ins in front of you. When I said why she repeated it again like a robot and said I’m just a pool employee I just work here.
Oh what’s even better is that their website says no appointments

I’m updating to 2 stars because the day I left my Unilocal review I got a comment from Amanda at Simon med imaging who offered to help rectify the situation. I didn’t think it was going to go anywhere but within a week I got my refund thanks to Amanda. It shouldn’t have to come to this to get my refund but at least it was finally resolved. I’m hoping they get their act together and can provide the same customer service Amanda did the first time around.

I wish I had also read these reviews before stepping foot in this office.
I was supposed to have an injection than MRI. I had an appointment and arrived 15 minutes prior to check in time.
In 2.5 hours, I had the injection, but then was STILL waiting in lobby for the MRI portion of my test. Never did they mention they were running behind and when I asked why it was 1 hour after my appointment, I was told 5 more min.
After waiting 15 minutes after that «5 min» estimate, I left. Who has 3+ hours to spend in a doctor’s office?
I can only imagine it’s going to be a nightmare when they try to charge me/​my insurance for a test never completed.
At all costs, avoid this place. This office is full of a slow moving staff that doesn’t value anyone’s time.

Avoid at all costs. This place is so disorganized and the wait time even with an appointment is at least 30min. So frustrating to see people walk in after you and be seen before you. I am here for a basic X-​ray so nothing special, it only took 5 min once I was actually called back.

I really wish I would have read these posts before my appointment, I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere! I only read these while on my way there and googling the address, and then there was Unilocal!
When I make an appointment somewhere, and I’m late (doesn’t actually happen…), I would be put at the back of the line, or even turned away if I’m too late, but still charged. Why aren’t these offices held to these same kind of standards???
I have a M-​F schedule for the most part. Appointments are already difficult for me to schedule. When I heard Simon Med had late hours and weekends, I was very happy to jump at a Sunday appointment and not have to miss work!
Nightmare begins now.
My appointment was at 12:30 with a 12:00 check-​in. I arrived at 12:00 on the dot. I filled out my pre-​work paperwork, and then when I hand it to the receptionist at 12:15, I’m told they are running 30 – 45 minutes behind. Ok, cool. So I asked if I could leave real quick instead of sitting there, was told yes, and I went to the car wash. Being that I’d be in around 1:00, I was back by 12:40. I sat in the waiting room with 2 other people that were obviously just as annoyed as I was, and clearly there was no policy in regards to cell phones, because both of them were watching movies on their phones with the sound cranked. Ever heard of headphones???
I was (finally) taken back to the locker area at about 1:20. So much for 30 – 45 minutes behind. When I got there and put my belongings in a locker, I was told «just a few more minutes.
Longest «few minutes» of my life.
I can tell you that there are about 286 black tiles on the floor in the waiting area. I know, I had nothing else to do there for the next 40 minutes. Meanwhile several staff members walked past me to put their lunches in the microwave, etc. Awesome.
I was considering leaving, when they finally came and got me at 1:58. Seriously, 2 hours after my «appointment» time. My MRI appointment lasted 3 excruciating hours. The tech was nice enough to offer up that she had not even had her lunch yet. Well, neither had I, since I did not intend to be there for 3 hours. She thanked me for waiting, and I said «I didn’t really have a choice». She explained that one patient kept moving so they had to keep staying over (Seriously? Make her reschedule!), And another needed extra images. This place has a bad case of not-​my-​fault syndrome.
Unless it’s a life or death situation, I won’t be back, there are plenty of other choices.

After waiting for a refund, and making quite a few calls, a refund was finally issued to me (4 months later). Amanda B. was very helpful and got things straightened out right away. I only wish I had contacted her sooner. I would however still warn about long office wait times, large up-​front payments and slow refunds. Having insured patients pay up front for services (amounts that are well above copay) is a poor practice, and if it must be done then a much more efficient accounting system is clearly necessary.

I was sent here for a Ct scan. I made an appointment for 1:15 and was told to be there 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. I showed up at 12:40 and completed the paperwork and paid my copay (u shouldn’t pay this until after the service). My appointment time came and went with no explanation. At 2:00 i was finally administered the CT scan and had to wait another 15 minutes for the scanned disk.
I thought the staff was professional but i don’t understand the prolonged waiting when you schedule an appointment. I hope i don’t have to come back.

If you have to use this business, I would review what you pay extremely thoroughly. The only reason this isn’t a one star review is because the staff in the buildings are very polite.
I went in for an MRI, and even though my insurance card said I had a copay for a certain amount, they had me pay a much higher amount. It was there «estimate after insurance», I was confused since I only had a copay, but figured I may be wrong and could sort it out later.
I get the explanation of benefits from my insurance, and sure enough I only should have paid the copay, as my insurance paid every other penny owed. You call to contact them and if you select the option requesting an account review (it happens enough that there is an option for it), you go straight to a voicemail saying it will be reviewed within 3 – 4 weeks. This was back in August… I still have yet to get the $ 50ish dollars I am owed… or speak to a human being for that matter.
I have called multiple times, and if you just call the front desk to ask about it they tell you that you have to leave a voicemail. Seems pretty fishy to me…

I had a 12:30pm appointment and it took well over an hour for them to see me. When I arrived the lady in front of me did not have an appointment, did not have an order from her doctor, and had no insurance info. Guess who they took first. Her! Pretty annoying.

I had a 1pm appointment and it took 30 minutes for them to call me back. Which is ridiculous since they told me to drink a gallon of water before my appointment. The least you can do is make sure you’re on time when you ask a patient to do that.
Next rant– if your about to give me an internal ultra sound work on your bedside manner! No one wants someone poking around their hoohah by a creepy and awkward ultra sound tech!
