I’ve taken three ballet classes here and I’ve been very satisfied with the instruction and class atmosphere. I’ve only taken intermediate classes, so I can’t speak for more basic or more advanced instruction.
My one gripe is that the Ballet School does not allow regular walk-​ins. They will let you try out your first class for free, but from then on, they require dancers to purchase a minimum of 9 classes. I assume this is to encourage retention, but really, the policy discourages me from attending class at all just because I can’t commit to one class per week. Bummer.
