I’ve gone here since I was 8 or 9. It’s a cool place. They are so good at cutting african american hair. I’m a black guy, and they do a perfect job. Great price too.

I’ve been a regular customer since 1995. It’s a lively place and always fun. The prices are fair and the service is wonderful. I won’t go anywhere else.

I wish I’d just gone instead to the Friendly Barber Shop again. But I felt it was my Unilocaly duty to try something new. Sigh.
The haircut here was… Well, to their credit, it was what I asked for. To the letter. The spirit, however (read: attractive styling) was right out. I was not pleased.
Now that my personal gripe is over, the pluses. The pricing is fair and the speed fast. My barber did tend to talk over much, which I didn’t appreciate (I like a relaxing haircut), but I can understand, in many ways it is a people business.

I’ve stopped in here on a number of occasions to have a quick «edge up», that’s to clean up the hair line along the neck area. The barber’s here are friendly, professional and know their skill very well. This shop has been in the community many years and close to both Carrboro & Chapel Hill residents.
