Awesome food & service. Not sure why the heck folks graded so low. Price was great. Had the Raspberry Chicken Salad– very good.

Not great. We have been here twice and both times gotten the same rude waitress. We might overlook that if the food was amazing but it’s nothing special. Frozen hamburger patties, etc. Cheeseballs are good though, but those are kind of hard to mess up.

Came up to try this place out last weekend while home visiting family. They had a good size of menu as far as options for entrees, pastas and salads. I would have liked a couple more options for sandwiches outside of burgers, but the rueben I ordered was pretty good. My only complaint was it was soggy on one side. I ended up eating the sandwich«open face» style. We ordered onion rings to start and were served a big pile of thin ones(I personally like the thin crunchy ones just fine). Our drinks were always kept refilled, the entrees were hearty, and our server was really nice. I like the atmosphere as well. I would recommend this place to a friend.

After being gone for a couple years, I decided to have lunch, sadly the menu items have not changed and it didn’t look like the actual menus changed either. I was handed a torn up old piece of paper. Fix this! You’d think in a small town restaurant would want to add more variety and changes over the years! They have brought back some of the old favourite appetizers such as the popcorn chicken and mini tacos to name a couple. Burgers and sandwiches are still tasty and the pizza is a great deal. What I noticed is that one price will cover as many toppings as you want. Being a salad fan, I would hope that they switch to some mixed greens soon, but that’s just me and a few other peoples opinion. Still filling non the less. I personally like that they have daily lunch specials and that they are promoting them on Facebook. A big plus since that’s the way everyone seems to get there news these days. The Pub also serves coke products, sorry Pepsi fans. They have a fairly large selection of beers and wines. I was very happy to see that they carry a diverse section of micro-brews in bottles and on tap. A blessing for people in small towns that appreciate good beer. I noticed in my last visit that they brought back in a pool table and some other arcade type machines. New large flat screen TV’s just about everywhere you look and on weekends the music level is not at a decibel of an 18 year olds liking. As for the wait staff, when I’m there it’s usually at an off time so I do get fast speedy service which is always nice. The Pub has a Tiki Deck which also has a full bar and outside dining. In all, The Pub on the Cedar has come around since the last few years due largely in part to an owner that actually cares about his business and his customers!
