I live in Europe and arrived on Charleston for the very 1^st time to visit a friend of mine by surprise– She is going threw tough moments w/​her health — I wanted to send her a «gorgeous flower bouquet «, that would be delivered the same morning — I called Anna, explained to her exactly the circumstances and asked her «PLEASE DO SOMETHING AWESOME, THAT CAN PUT A SMILE ON MY FRIEND’S FACE » !!! — Anna did it GREAT ! Fast, awesome bouquet, gorgeous, even sent me the pic to my cel, and let me knew it was received — When I met my friend, after the bouquet arrived «she was w/​a great smile on her face «THAT, MOMENT WAS PRICELESS ! I’m an out-​of-​towner who was looking for a florist to do same-​day-​delivery to a friend of mine celebrating a birthday. Anabella’s was lovely — took my order right away, was wonderfully accomodating, put together a gorgeous bouquet for my friend, and delivered that afternoon. Anna of Anna Bella Florals is a rare business owner who takes pride in her business and takes care of her customers. My first order was about a year ago. Being a chronic procrastinator I delayed ordering Valentine flowers for my fiancé to be delivered to her office. Not only was Anna able to somehow schedule me in but she customized an arrangement that was AMAZING! My fiancé said that everyone ooh’ed and aah’ed all day. People came down the hall from other offices just to check them out. When my fiancé brought the flowers home they made the whole house smell wonderful and the flowers lasted over a WEEK. It is just a testament to the quality and care Anna puts into her work. I have used Anna for all my floral needs since then. This year for Valentines day I stopped in to repeat my order from last year. Not only did she remember me but she said she was just about to call me so I didn’t forget. With customer service like that it is no wonder why her business is thriving. Thanks Anna.

For a custom piece requested 2 weeks in advance. 85 $ didnt really get me anything better than I could have found at Harris Teeter. Not really all that excited to give to my fiancé, but its too last minute now…

Anna was a joy to work with from the start! Since I live in Indianapolis, we communicated over the phone and via email so she could see pictures of the flowers I wanted. I met with her once the week of my wedding… and she nailed it, even the cake flowers were perfect. To top things off, I got married the week Hurricane Joaquin rolled into town. Calhoun Street was flooded and she knew she couldn’t get through… so she hitched a ride with a porta-​potty truck driver to get my flowers there on time. If that’s not good customer service, I don’t know what is. Even with the rain, it was a magical day. Anna Bella Florals will always be part of our fairy tale!

We were referred to Anna Bella Florals for my daughter’s wedding, and couldn’t be happier with the results. She customized everything to fit my daughter’s vision, and it all turned out so beautifully. Anna was very good at listening to what we wanted and she was fair in her pricing. She worked directly with our cake people and the coordinator to pull her portion of the big day off flawlessly. I highly recommend her services.

My wife and I decided to have a last minute ceremony during our trip to Charleston last weekend. We were so worried we wouldn’t be able to get a bridal bouquet, and boutineers with only 24 hours notice. We called Anna and she said to stop by the shop. My wife and mother in law described what the wanted and even with 2 other weddings the next day, Anna said it wouldn’t be a problem. We picked up the flowers the morning of the wedding and they were exactly what we were looking for. They looked stunning and fresh and at a very reasonable price too. Thank you Anna for making our special day look so beautiful.

Anna, the owner of Anna Bella Florals, is a talented floral artist and so easy to work with. My husband and I had our wedding at the Circular Church and I wanted a few florals there and then for our entire reception at the Mills House, as well as our wedding party. Anna was one of the easiest vendors I worked with, and I appreciated it because I was an out-​of-​town bride. She accommodated last minute requests (flower petals down the aisle, small floral arrangements on extra tables, adding a meaningful charm to my bouquet… and more) easily and without hesitation. She was available to meet with in person very easily, and honestly, all of our communication was via email up until the week before our wedding! The communication was just so easy and I felt confident and comfortable enough to hire her because I felt like she understood my vision for our florals. She was prompt in delivering the flowers, and picked up vases right at the end of the night. I also added submersible lights to our arrangements and just brought them to her the week before and she set them up and they were beautiful the night of. Everyone commented on how they thought it was so neat and beautiful to add to the arrangements, so I was thankful she did what she said she could do! It was a small detail that could have been overlooked, but it was not, and made all the difference. Also, she was one of the only vendors that said she could do dendrobium orchids with the budget I had in mind. Other vendors tried to talk me into other flowers, but not her. I appreciated her flexibility with my additions and deletions and she still worked within my budget. She was wonderful and I would highly recommend her. Thank you, Anna!

I met Anna at a networking meetup and she asked me to stop by her new shop. I wasn’t able to make the opening but came in a couple weeks later. It’s a beautiful little shop right on Calhoun and every time I’ve stopped by there’s always street parking right out front. It was an old house converted into a shop but is still full of character and feels very homey. If it was for rent, I would gladly move in!
When we first met, I mentioned an orchid a friend of mine bought me as a gift for using my condo for the week while I was out of town. I’d had it for years and never really seen ones around in stores with blossoms as big as that. She asked that I send her a photo before I came and she identified it right away and had some for me to look at when I came in.
While I was there she told me about the flower preservation biz, which I knew nothing about and found it very fascinating that you can preserve real flowers without drying them and they still look and feel 100 percent real. As far as I know, she’s one of the only folks doing this in the Charleston area.
I ended up taking one home one of the orchids and she wrapped it up all nice and had it ready to go for me. The thing is, I’m kind-​of an idiot and left it in the car while I ran in to a meeting. Meeting ran longer than expected… new orchid was DOA by the time I got back to it. I tried to revive it with no success. Anna lightly scolded me for being stupid which I deserved and told me to come back by another time.
I stopped in a couple weeks later and looked at some of the new orchids she had come in. I found one that I liked and decided it would be a good replacement. She told me to take it free of charge since I never got to enjoy the last one but, that if I killed this one, I was on my own!
I was on a mission to keep this plant alive but, I did have one more meting to go to and it was a very hot day. I’m driving back over to Mt P blasting the AC as high as it will go and directing all the cool air in it’s direction. I showed up and parked right out front. I left the AC running and the car on so it wouldn’t get hot again and took the plant inside with me. Yeah, they were a bit confused as to why I brought an orchid to a meeting but, I briefly explained the situation.
I rushed it home afterwards and made it all the way without any further plant-​omicide. It’s now sitting behind my desk in front of the window and I enjoy it every day. Plus, I kept working on the dead one and have seen some new growth on it. Anna was sure I fried the thing from the inside out but, it’s starting to sprout new life. Excellent customer service and a beautiful and fascinating little shop. Make sure to check out the orchids!

As a professional wedding photographer, working with other quality vendors is really important! If the bride’s bouquet is a boring arrangement thrown together by some wanna-​be stylist, or the boutonnieres fall off their stems, or the table arrangements are wilting by the end of the reception, they make my photography look less appealing. And of course, can make for an un-​happy bride!
Fortunately, Annabella Florals is a TOP NOTCH florist! Every wedding I’ve ever photographed where they were involved, the bouquet designs were exquisite, the flowers were fresh and beautiful, and most importantly… the brides always LOVE working with them! They are prompt, courteous, and professional. And unlike some of the big-​box florists in town, they pay attention to the details… which makes all the difference!!!
