Meh, I’ll do my thrift shopping myself. Employees will generally ignore you, prices will generally not be amazing. You can generally have a better time at the big thrift shops around town.

I only stopped in once, but I will definitely be back. I had spent the day downtown and then decided last minute to catch a comedy show at Theatre 99 across the street. It was still early in the day and it was one of those days that started out rainy and crappy out, but then turned into 85 and sunny. I was dying hot wearing heavy jeans and rain shoes and couldn’t take another minute of it. After buying our tickets for the show at the venue, a friend and I stopped into here to see if I could re-work my winter-ish wardrobe into a seek summer style. The men’s section at many second hand/vintage shops is generally an afterthought but, I was impressed with the selection. I found a sweet pair of shorts probably from the 70s, tried them on, and ended up wearing them out the door. The staff was very accommodating and even helped me get the alarm off the back without having to change back into my dreadfully hot jeans again. We probably know eachother a little more than she expected to know me when I walked in so I appreciate her going the ‘extra mile’. Fourteen dollars later I felt like a new man. I found a pair of flip flops in my trunk and headed strait to the bar to complete the cooling off process with an ice cold Westbrook IPA.

This shop has a lot of cool vintage clothes but the staff completely ignored me. I tried on a couple things that didn’t work out and I left without a single peep from anyone working there. They stayed in the back the whole time talking amongst themselves. I wish they had been a little more attentive, I probably would have wanted to stay a bit longer and try a few more things on.
