I like the set up of the store and the produce is always fresh featuring local seasonal fruits/veggies. However the staff could use a smile. Some of the employees are great but there is one employee there in particular that is so rude and abrasive, always. As I was in self-checkout with a full cart, one minute into scanning she interrupted the process by telling me to make sure I got the products underneath the cart… As if I were planning to just walk out with them. It was weird and totally rubbed me the wrong way. I avoid going there.

Easy aisle navigation, always plenty of carts and baskets. Checkout lanes always available. Good VIC deals. Customer service is always nice, but there are some who seem more tired than others sometimes. Great produce and deli. Sushi is great. I would definitely recommend the online shopping. Pay just a few extra bucks and get someone to pick out your groceries for you. Lots of times, I ask for a store brand and get a name brand for no extra cost!

This one goes out to the Submarine Sandwhich Department: Harris Teets has great prices on subs already but then every day they give 2 flavors even better deals! They taste great with a great price but you should know that sub preparation here is highly unorthodox. After several subs, I suspect there was one person that trained everyone else to make them in this special way. Firstly, don’t let the game face fool you as they will look upset but it’s just concentration. After you give the initial order, they’ll take a big grabby fistfull of each ingredient, pull their arm a good foot away from the sandwich and with a snap of the wrist launch them into the bread. Seeing this one time is very impressive(the shredded lettuce bounces back up!) but after 8 ingredients laid out in 2.3 seconds you know things are up. At this point most of the ingredients are not on the bread but stay calm while you watch everything get rolled up in wax paper. When you eventually get around to eating your sandwich everything will look as if it was placed perfectly in position. How do they do it?

Harris Teeter has the the best craft beer selection in Folly Beach. We went to Piggly Wiggly, Wal-Mart and Bi-Lo before coming to Harris Teeter. None of them compare to Harris Teeter. If you are looking for a great craft beer selection I highly recommend Harris Teeter.

This is a review for Harris Teeter’s deli. I love coming to Harris Teeter for a sub; they are so much better than subs from popular chains like Subway or Quiznos. Each time I’ve visited the Harris Teeter downtown for lunch I have had some of the best subs ever, but not this location on James Island; they blew it. We went in one night at 7pm to get a sub from this location and they told us the sandwich shop was closed at 7pm on a Friday night. What the hell 7pm is prime time for dinner and we just wanted to grab a sub to take home and relax with a movie. Well we forgave them for closing at such an hour, so that following Sunday we decided at 5pm to head there and grab some subs. All seemed to be fine, we ordered the subs on the HT app for pickup; but when we get to the store we realize that 1 of the subs is missing that we ordered and pointed it out to the guy working. He was nice enough to make the missing sub, and we proceeded to grab a bag of chips and head home for movie night. Once we get home we realize that both of our subs are ice cold; we ordered a meatball sub and bbq sub. They had failed to heat up the meats and we ended up having to pull apart the subs and heat the meats ourselves. So next time I’m in a mood for a HT sub I’ll head to the location downtown, but this location on James Island has lost my sub business.

My «regular» grocery store of choice: Harris Teeter lies somewhere in between Piggly Wiggly and Whole Foods, in price and quality. This location is spacious and well-run, with a varied selection.
