Gabe’s – Gabriel Brothers

My experience visiting this particular Gabe’s location with my mother for the very first time was unpleasant. When checking out, the sales person #12 015 was very rude and apparently has had no experience with customer service. While waiting in line she shouted at me and my mother to come to the register like we couldn’t understand her. I asked her how she was doing because she was very disgruntled. She never responded and had an attitude with us, like we were an inconvenience. She never showed any kindness and never thank us at the POS. As I was leaving, I told my mother «I have never been treated like this and that she was rude.» The associate then yelled at us «Don’t ever come back to this store!». I was shocked and didn’t want confrontation with this uncivilized person. I am also in the retail industry and know how customers are treated. She apparently was incompetent. I will never being going to this store again because unruly associates this company has hired.

Whoa. Gabe’s is an experience. Tons of deals but you have to be willing to dig. I love a great deal but I don’t have the patience to dig through the racks. I did see some mall brands like Express and White House Black Market. This is the Walmart equivalent of TJ Maxx.

If you like to bargain shop and dig, this is the place. Regular areas are organized by style, but clearance is mixed in. Huge juniors and women’s section with current trends and department store/​mall brands such as Express! Give it a try, but be mentally prepared.
