I started taking lessons here a few months ago and I absolutely love it. I have never had any dance experience and walked in off the street to find out more. The people were very helpful and got me signed up for my first class, and I caught the bug! It is a little pricey but they are willing to work with you to find a schedule that accommodates your financial needs as well as your goals. It’s definitely worth checking out! Richard is a fantastic instructor and I am excited for what the future holds.

I started taking ballroom dance about 5 months ago. It was something on my bucket list. Planet Ballroom Lake Wylie has turned it into something much more than that; it’s become a passion. They are very welcoming and newcomer friendly, the group classes are fun and I cannot say enough about the instructors. I didn’t have previous dance experience and I’m not exactly the graceful type, but they had me dancing in no time and confident on the dance floor. If you’re the least bit interested in ballroom, Latin, or swing dancing you must give them a try! You won’t regret it!

My husband and I started taking dance lessons about 3 years ago to prepare for our wedding dance. We learned a Foxtrot routine and wowed everyone at the reception. We were also able to learn some swing steps and other basic moves in time to dance those at our wedding as well. We had so much fun, that we continued taking lessons and even did a showcase together! I kept taking lessons on my own after that and have competed in several events with my dance instructor. I highly recommend Planet Ballroom if you have ever wanted to learn to dance. I can’t imagine having a better experience anywhere else. The instructors are very helpful and patient and I’ve met some wonderful friends at the studio.
