In response to Kristin, my name is Mo(owner) I would first like to say that I am sorry that you had a bad experience at our store, but let me say our part. I. C London has done work with us since they moved in next door and we have not had any problems with them. Shelley and I stand by our quality work and customer service. That being said, We did not mark your garment and did all the work that was needed. There was no complaint on that part! As for the«damaged» areas, there is no way of knowing whose fault it was. There is nothing near our machine that would cause the«damages» you are talking about. There was two areas you complained about and to act the way you did at our store is wrong. Threatening to write a bad review and telling us we wont have future customers is a YOU problem when we can stand by our quality work. Our tailor has worked making clothes in NYC, had a tailor shop in Piper Glen in Charlotte and have been in this location since 2008. We have NEVER had a complaint about anything being snagged/ripped to cause damage to a garment during the alteration process. I don’t understand why you would ask us to discount your alteration when we did not do any damage to it. It was NOT near the areas we worked on. You had no complaint on the alterations we did. We are honest in everything we do and are always honorable if we make a mistake. As you saw that the problem areas were steamed out, You asked for a discount for your time wasted and not on the work that we did. There are just some things that we will have to stand our ground on. We fully stand by stating that those two little areas were not something that happened in this store. If you didn’t act the way you did at both stores, maybe things would have been different. After talking to Shelley at I. C London, she can verify that it was not a damage. She stated that it was steamed out, and looked more like a divet in fabric that can happen to very delicate fabric like silk. Shelley is very nice and we both try to give great customer service, but we could not after you threatened us with a bad review and said that we would not have any more customers. We are different to other cleaners in that we focus on quality and hand press all garments. We cut down on any mistakes. Our tailor has been in the business for over 30 years and we are confident in the quality work we do.
