Talbots Outlet Store

I wanted to share my first experience at Talbots Outlet in the university area. I was not spoken to or asked if I could be helped. I let myself into the fitting room twice with no assistance. No one asked if I needed different sizes or anything else for that matter. As I exited the fitting room the second time, an employee made a short connection and got the manager for me. There were four employees on the floor at the time of my visit. Two were talking about the new car one had bought with orange seats. The other two were not busy assisting anyone else. Funny thing was another customer heard me talk to the manager about my experience and she said she was just saying the same thing to her mother. Maybe I don’t fit the profile for Talbots clothes. The staff needs to take Customer Service Classes…

I haven’t been here in a while and of course I was too young and I would go with my mother. But now being a working woman in the corporate world I needed to step up my wardrobe game professionally. Even though I am young I have found cute pieces here and there. Don’t sleep on Talbots outlet store they have great deals.

Just got a pair of $ 99 pants for $ 5.99. This store is large has women’s, petite, woman’s petite, missed. I love it. Worth the drive.

Bopping around in University City, I spied the Talbots Outlet in the corner of my eye. Now, a few years ago I would have squashed the idea that I would find anything remotely cute in Talbots, as it used to appeal to a completely different demographic. However, with the past few years of revamping their goods (now a bit more Ann Taylor-​esque), I thought I’d give it a go and check it out.
And my oh my, I’m glad I did. The Talbots Outlet Store is a total hidden gem. You’ll see ladies of various ages in here, but don’t fret, my pet. Take it all in — as just about everything is at least 50% off of the sale price. i.e. That pretty silk top that retailed for $ 99 just this past season, was marked down to $ 70, and then $ 48, and then you receive 50% off the last listed price. $ 24 later, you’re a made woman. Wham, bam, thank you, Talbots.
The store itself is quite expansive, so prepare yourself to shop around for a bit. Most items are arranged by type, color and size — including to ever confusing petite sizing. Just go ahead and bring a bunch of sizes into the dressing room. In addition to clothing from the past season (i.e. if we’re in spring, the clothing is mostly from fall and winter, some early spring), you’ll find plenty of accessories and a small selection of shoes. The boots and pumps were 80% off when I stopped in. Suede boots for $ 17. Yes please. Happy shopping, y’all.
