Whitney B’s Cupcakes & Catering

I cannot recommend Whitney enough — she is really the only person I will call for cupcakes now! After living in both DC and Charlotte, at eating cupcakes from places including winners of Cupcake Wars and top rated for the city, Whitney’s were hands down better! Plus, working with her was great and the cupcakes were adorable!
I contacted Whitney to make 2 dozen cupcakes for my boys’ joint birthday party with a Lego theme. She wrote back quickly and was very communicative about my options and sending me sample photos to make sure we were on the same page. Once we decided on them (chocolate and vanilla with vanilla buttercream), she made legos and lego men cupcake toppers out of chocolate and fondant 5s and 2s (for my boys’ ages). And they had festive lego-​colored confetti on them. They were ADORABLE!
Picking them up was really easy and they were ready when I arrived.
The cake was really moist with the perfect level of sweetness, and had really delicious chocolate and vanilla flavor. I was even MORE impressed with the frosting, which managed to be rich and decadent and yet light and fluffy at the same time! You could really taste that everything was fresh, made from scratch, and that she used quality ingredients. We were so amazed! In fact, I ate two of them (oops!) just so I could «sample» the other flavor. Ha!
I highly highly recommend her!

Best Cupcakes I ever had!!! I had a last min engagement that I needed some custom cupcakes for a classy event in the theme of tequila for a girl night out event. Whitney was super nice and helpful. I can be a bit much when it come to details and expectation. she was very patience and professional. Her cupcake were very reasonable in price for custom work and were 100% homemade which my that is a bakery raved about. Definitely check her out to have the best cupcake ever :-)
