This was our first time getting food from here. I have mixed feelings about it. The fried rice and pork lo mein were both excellent. The egg rolls and General Tso’s were mediocre at best. I was specifically disappointed with the General Tso’s. It tasted more like orange chicken with hot peppers.

Purchased the Sesame Chicken and General Tso’s chicken and got physically ill for the next 24 hours.

I order delivery from them fairly often, and they are consistent in quality. I like the black pepper chicken and they have decent hot & sour soup. They are sometimes a little late with delivery but decent for the most part.

DONOTORDER. Took two hours for our meal to arrive after we called twice and were told it would be arriving within minutes. We were on the phone with them when the food finally arrived– obviously they hadn’t made the order when we called the first time. After a 15 minute phone call and plenty of yelling on their end, both towards me and between the translator, who apparently didn’t even work for them, and the boss, who refused to give out either her name or her actual job title, the restaurant hung up on me, having refused to refund or comp the food even when I told them that we were more than happy for them to take it back. Extremely unhappy with their rude and unprofessional conduct. Would give 0 stars if possible.

These people are rude. My boyfriend ordered from them, it took two hours, and they hung up on him after refusing to refund the food even after we attempted to return it. Worst. Service. Ever.

Not a place you want to eat in but awesome delivery and awesome food. I like it better than most of the other Chinese places in Charlottesville. General tso chicken is great as is the garlic chicken. As a matter of fact, everything I’ve had here has been very good. Serve fresh and hot. No steam tables.

I eat lunch and dinner here a couple times a week as I work over at PVCC. Best Chinese food in town in my opinion. Generous portions, and very inexpensive. I like things hot and spicy, and they make it that way if you ask. The dining room is no frills, they seem to do most of their business in takeout and delivery. I usually eat there though as I can’t wait to dig in, and it is tough to eat Chinese food while driving home or back to work…

Exactly what you hope for when it comes to American — Chinese food. Will be coming back the next time I need my Chinese fix in cville.

Maybe its too soon to review this place but I’ll jump the gun on this. I live about ten minutes away from here and had seen it when driving through the shopping center to go Food Lion. I love Chinese Food so I am always up for trying a new Chinese restaurant or at least new to me. I placed an order for sesame chicken, asked if I wanted the lunch combo which included fried rice and an egg roll so I went ahead and got the combo. Wasn’t told how long it would take or how much it was(seems only pizza places and Chop Sticks Express does this) but when I left from the Family Dollar on 5th Street to Hong Kong my meal was ready and bagged up for me to go. I was going straight home so I wasn’t worried about a drink but it would have been nice to get one with the meal. I get home and open it up and dump it all on a plate and just warmed it up a little bit more… DELICIOUS!!! My favorite place is Lee’s Café inside the Rio Hill Kroger but they close next month so this place just might become my new favorite after Lee’s is gone. My meal was $ 8.27(or so) which might be a little steep but well worth it! They had a sign on the door stating they have a special for students(I assume Monticello since its right up the road from there) for about $ 5 they get a lunch special until 3 p.m. so its great they want to give a good quality meal to students a reasonable price. I will def. be back! This place has tables to eat in, you can take out and they also deliver!

Best chinese food we’ve had in a long time. Staff is friendly, delivery is fast. The only improvement could be on the rangoon. Not enough filling which is too bad because I love crab rangoon. But we order from here all the time. Love it!

Delivery time is average, but service is great. The guy even came to the front of my dorm — as in, he /actually/got out of the car to /actually/deliver the food. Plus for that. Food is decent. The dinner/lunch specials come with good fried rice, as they put roast pork in it. Probably the best fried rice that comes with Chinese food in Charlottesville. I got the Sesame Chicken, which tasted fine. Nothing special. Egg Drop Soup was considerably less saltier than competitors, which I liked a lot. A whole quart for just $ 1.75! I needed it for free delivery, which was just a measly $ 10 minimum. TL;DR: Decent food, average delivery time, good service. I would come back.

As far as Chinese restaurants go in Charlottesville, this is one of the better options. The service is quick and friendly. The food is certainly Americanized Chinese food, but presumably that’s what you’re looking for if this is your dining choice. There are more fine dining options in town, but this restaurant provides consistently good dishes.

Don’t place any online order here! I’ve been ordering food delivery through online system so many times and this restaurant gave me the worst experience! They didn’t even know how to find an address! Really? I have received dozens of food deliveries/mailing packages at my place, why didn’t it work for your restaurant solely? At the end of our conversation, the waitress simply replied«we are not doing this delivery!» OMG.

I have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed it! The sweet and sour chicken was nice and fresh and the General Zao’s was good as well. Friendly service. If you are looking for good chinese take-out, then you should try out this place!
