Boutique stationary and gift shop on the downtown mall. It carries a fair amount of letterpress styled cards which range from sentimental to tongue in cheek. This is a great place to find a hilarious card for that friend with a wry sense of humor or simply for invitations to events. In addition to the cards RPS also carries gift wrap, stationary, light quirky desk supplies, moleskin notebooks, and miscellaneous decorative items such as Cardboard Safari animals. The displays are sparsely placed throughout the store which allows for comfortable browsing. It would be nice if they expanded the card selection a bit further, but the current collection is lovely.
The store itself is mid-​sized with a homey atmosphere which makes the place feel inviting. However, the times I’ve been in here I’ve had lackluster interactions with the sales associates. Rarely do I see them come out from behind the counter or greet people walking into the store. The only time I’ve really spoken to them is during payment. As a result, this tends to be a brief stint and not a destination for my friends and I.

Going into planning my wedding I felt very adamant about all my wedding papers being cohesive from the save the date to the thank you cards. We will just say it was my bridezilla moment! My wedding planner Amanda Gray of Ashley Baber Weddings strongly recommended RPS for all my wedding papers and they absolutely delivered! I worked mainly with Heather and she was amazing. She was incredibly responsive and flexible throughout the entire process. She went WAY above and beyond to make me happy and every last detail was perfect. I should mention that I live in Atlanta and my wedding was in Blacksburg. Still, Heather worked amazingly efficiently with me to get me online proofs quickly and it was never a problem working with them from out of town. I would absolutely recommend RPS and I can’t wait to create something beautiful with them again!

Amazing selection of beautiful gifts, stationery, cards and papers. The staff was so helpful when I came to pick out save the dates and invitations for my wedding. We got it all done in one sitting and they’ve been a breeze to work with over email as we finalize details to place the order and get them shipped. When I asked for suggestions for a calligrapher they came back with three great ideas at different price points.

Rude. We went here to buy invitations for a 300+ person wedding, and the ladies working in the store were mean and disrespectful — especially to my MOTHER, who is the sweetest lady! Needless to say, we are buying elsewhere. No one should be poorly treated when being excited about their wedding.

Great staff. Great products. Local and fun. High prices but offer a great range for affordability. Perfect for a quick card on the run, personalized stationary or creating invitations for an event.
