Lori did a great job hemming my pants. And, she has a quick turnaround time. After visiting Lori’s establishment and experiencing her excellent service and workmanship, it is safe to say that she is the only tailor I will ever need to use. I heartily endorse her to all readers!

I discovered Lori’s Tailors around last Thanksgiving and have been going to her for all my alteration needs! She is very attentive at what you want done and how you want it. Lori makes sure she finishes everything done the day it is promised, and she does an amazing job at what she does. I would highly recommend her for your alternation needs if you live in the valley area. She is also very very reasonable on giving prices for her work.
Keep in mind that Lori’s business is not an actual shop located in a plaza. She works from home and uses her home garage as business space.

Absolutely the worst. I took an expensive comforter to her to reduce the size because she had done a jeans button for me once and it was fine and well priced. Even after repeating where to cut several times, she cut the short side instead of long side. I immediately called her and told her what she had done and her response was «No, i did what you told me». She had an extreme attitude and said Jesus what do you want me to do now? Would never ever go there again. Stay away from her if you don’t want your expensive stuff ruined.

I want to say that Lori has been doing alterations for me for almost 40 years now. She’s the best !! Whether it’s been hemming my pant’s or dresses, etc. I wouldn’t change to anyone else! She even made my sister’s wedding dress almost from scratch. Just ask her how many brides maid dresses she’s done at once! Back in the 70’s she made me slacks & vest from scratch too; & some of them even had coats to go with them; & if you need proof, & they were made with such good quality, I still have them. lol… :-} She also helped fix the hems on our drapes, & many other things through the year. Give her a call & see for yourself. The same goes for mens clothes too, just so you know she works on more then womans clothing.

Thanks Lori ! It’s hard to find a good place to get your things tailored/​altered, especially last minute. I called around and Lori said come on by and I can hem your pants while you wait. Really?
From initial phone call to alteration it took less than an hour. The pants look great and she even fixed a shirt in need of a button. 1 hem, 1 waistline and 1 button for $ 15 ! Nice and great job!
I will be using Lori for all of my tailoring\alterations when I am in the area.
Just an FYI she is located Chatsworth, not Northridge.

Lori created a custom wedding dress that my new bride brought for her to make from a picture. It was exquisite and complimented by all.

I took my son’s cub scout uniform here to get come patches sewn on on Tuesday. I needed 2 patches on his jacket and then one patch on the pocket of his shirt. The place is run by Lori and her daughter. Never met Lori, but her daughter was very nice. So, I dropped the stuff off and picked it up Friday after work on the way to our camping trip. For the 3 patches, it cost $ 16. More than what I expected to pay, but since I didn’t want the pocket sewn where you can’t use the pocket, they charged $ 10. Oh well, I needed it done. The place and the people were nice but it’s somewhat expensive. Maybe next time I’ll learn how to sew it myself…
