Pizza Ola

First time here. Honestly, not too bad.
Ordered a small pizza with spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and mushrooms for carryout. It was made-​to-​order so I had to wait maybe 8 – 12 minutes, but at least it was definitely fresh out of the oven.
It’s true, the décor isn’t really the most appealing. It looks very classic for a pizza joint, and I’m pretty sure at one point it looked much more aesthetically pleasing. Aside from it being pretty quiet in there, nothing was really that striking. My only issue with the atmosphere is that it was almost unbearably hot. Whether or not that was just for the day, I can’t say.
The pizza itself was interesting. A lot of boldness came through from the flavors of the ingredients, so it tasted different from stuff you’d get at places like chain restaurants. But it definitely tasted real. The sauce was a salty sweet and the crust was not too chewy or crunchy.
I was concerned looking at the other reviews, but objectively, the service was good and so was the food

I ordered from EAT24, I had a crazy day of life, drove 150 miles before noon. I was apprehensive because of the Unilocal stars, but I wish I could help an appeal for other’s to rate this business, because they deserve four stars don’t be fooled on the misrating.
the pros: I was wowed by fresh and crisp french fries, they don’t usually travel well. Delighted by the spaghetti, an awesome surprise that they bake it with a beautiful crust of mozzarella on top. The Tuna Sandwich was perfection!!!
The Cons: I have lived REALLY close by and stayed away because of inaccurate Unilocal reviews. I should have tried this spot sooner. shame on Unilocal/​yelpers. Pizza Ola ROCKS! 5 stars, well deserved.

I love cold pizza-​the morning after. But I don’t like it to be delivered that way. I had to pop the pizza in the oven after the first bite. It was cold and hard like it had been left out for a few hours.
I noticed the delivery driver didn’t have the proper pizza carrier he was just carrying it out in the open in a crate or basket or something. I would recommend this restaurant invests in the proper carriers for deliveries so food can stay warm.
Other than that, the price is pretty reasonable, and the delivery took less than an hour. I probably won’t order here again because I like my food hot, but one day j might try going inside.

I popped in on a whim to check it out. Super picky about pizza. No Margherita pizza with fresh basil so I opted for my go-​to with Canadian bacon & mushrooms. I live 5 min away & it was yum. Not blown away yum, but it was satisfying for being so sketchy,
However, they do need to clean up. Magazines & newspapers scattered & felt grimy as well as the seats. That there may even sway me to not go back…

Very upset! Ordered a cheeseburger special which clearly says with thousand island dressing and when my burger came it had mayo all over it (I HATE mayo). My food came cold because the driver didnt read the directions about my gate code so he turned around to go back. He called 3 times (totaling of 2 mins) I was in the bathroom, so he didnt give me much time to get to my phone. Also didn’t get a straw for my drink. I WILL NEVER ORDER from this place again. Called to complain and the first lady sounded as if she didnt care and the manager Maria didn’t express much concern either other than offering to have a plain burger delivered. Which is nice, but I dont want a plain burger. Had I known the menu was wrong I would of just ordered from somewhere else. Horrible experience all around and I WILL NOT BE BACK.

I decided to get pizza one night since I was toooo tired to cook after coming home from work. Plus, I had a huge craving for pizza. I’m a pizzaholic. The crust reminded me of Pizza Hut. Not really my favorite. I thought Kalamata olives were the same as the canned sliced black olives. Nope. The Kalamata olives were very very briny & a bit toooo salty for me. I had to get a no cheese pizza since I can’t have dairy after a certain time. The sausage tasted good. Overall, the pizza tasted ok. I need to try the thin crust pizza. The poor delivery guy had on a boot on one leg. I felt bad for the guy.

Pizza was extras cheesy just the way i like it.

It’s great pizza! The taste and the prices are perfect! If you want something fast and better Quality than little Cesar, this is the place to eat at. Owner is very nice.

Delivery was fast but the buffalo wings were just fried chicken on top of buffalo sauce that was watered down and the chicken wings werent whole they were broken in half through the bone. Think of chicken nuggets with bones.
Their french fries werent even cooked all the way through or fired all the way through.
Their ranch and buffalo sauce were watered down like they ran out and added water to have more very disturbing I couldnt finish the food im very disappointed.
Their pastrami and cheese sub wasnt bad but they added italian dressing or some type of sauce that made it different and thats were the 1 star comes in if i could give this place a negative i would.

Best pizza in town and the staff is very friendly! I ordered this with my coworkers and the delivery came really fast!

First time here, I got their regular size Stromboli (calzone) with pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple. I have to admit it was pretty good! Very light but still pretty filling and they definitely didn’t hold back on the toppings. I was told they come in two sizes, their regular size was pretty big for one person so I could only imagine how big their large one would be. I will definitely be coming back to try out other stuff.

Idk how pizza is but the cheesesteaks and onions rings are disgusting!
I had regular cheesesteak, with extra cheese. When I got the cheesesteak, it looked like someone just threw a brick of check in the cheesesteak and let it melt. And the cheese tasted disgusting.
And the onion rings?!? Ugh. I bit into one and it squirted out so much juice, wasn’t even cooked all the way.
I wasted $ 16.

Stay away from this place, these people are clueless.
First off, I wanted to order a one-​topping pizza with half and half — half pepperoni and half sausage. This is the first pizza place I have ever been to in my life that has refused to do this. Basically, I would have to pay twice to have one topping on half and one topping on another half even though it’s the same thing as having one topping on the entire pizza.
Second issue, and more significant, is that they would not honor my coupon. I printed out a coupon that I used with my credit card points (from
) and the woman told me I had to have the actual physical coupon. I tried to explain to her that it was a legit coupon and that there is a phone number to validate it. She rudely told me that she «didn’t have time» to call the number despite the fact that there was almost nobody in the restaurant. At this point, I felt greatly disrespected and left. I used coupons from
–Entertainment company for the past few years and this is the FIRST time a place has not honored my coupon. I posted a picture of the coupon. So much for the customer always being right. And to think these people will be making $ 15 an hour in a few years.
I would recommend going to Straw Hat Pizza which is down the road on Devonshire near Ralphs.

Lunch Specials are off the hook. Like 5 – 6 dollars for a full meal. Whether it’s a burger fries and drink, personal pizza, or a sandwich. It’s awesome! Tastes good.
Plus the lady who owns the business is the sweetest person ever. Definitely my favorite place to visit with my friends.

My boyfriend took me here (his first time too) we really didn’t know what to expect, but let me tell you the pizza was delicious. I’m not sure what was it that I liked the most the crust or the sauce or the pizza all together, but either way I enjoyed it a lot. Planning to return and try the other food on their menu.

What the owner had going on with another lady wasn’t my business and I should never judge what one has with another person.
I just called the owner and she was LOVELY AND WONDERFUL!!! This is a family owned restaurant and the are very kind.
After I took out the sundries tomatoes, my kids loved the pizza!!!
So I mean where else can you get 2 pizza and cheese sticks for 20 $??? That actually tastes good???
And it is even good cold. ;)

(+) Lunch specials are very affordably priced! Great options of a 1 topping pizza, cheese steak, gyro or cheeseburger w/​fries.
(+) 11″ cheese steak can be beef or chicken and comes with mayo, onions, and swiss cheese. It was sooo good. Interesting how it’s specified as 11″, almost a foot long. I guess the bread comes that way? The bread was toasted nicely and it was a very filling cheese steak. Really enjoyed it, so I’d give it an extra star for that.
(+) Pizza (10″ diameter) was also great, served hot and fresh.
(-) Décor could use some TLC… just some cleaning, paint, and especially fix the upholstery of the chair (lots of rips in the booth cushions) would make a world of difference.

Been going here for years but not lately because I don’t work in the area anymore. For $ 4.95 a small pie, can’t beat that. Even at that price, the quality of the pizza is top notch from the cheese to the crust.
