Sandwiches aren’t bad.
Prices are a little ridiculous, however.
What’s annoying is that they just decided to close up shop without any notice
They slipped a little piece of paper in the window with a handwritten note saying «Sorry, not open today.» Really? –_–
I think there was an entire month where I drove by periodically and noticed the same note in the window.
They clearly don’t appreciate business nor making customers happy, so I’m done with Sub Contractor!

Simi Valley, CA

To my delight, we just discovered that one of our favorite sandwich shops in Simi Valley has expanded and opened a restaurant around the block from our house. Since moving from Simi Valley, we have missed our favorite eateries. If you haven’t tried these sandwiches yet, you will be pleasantly surprised on your first visit. My favorite part of the sandwich is the chopped vegetables. Hopefully you will enjoy them as much as my family does. Enjoy!

This place is ok. Staff was very friendly, very clean inside. But therfe wasn’t that big of a selection. I picked the #21 which was ham, turkey, roast beef, the sandwich was meh at best. It tasted like something I made at home with some meat I got from the store and freash bread, nothing really wow’ed me there. Is it a place to try one sure but keep going back probaly not unless they change the menu around or get their nitch.

What are you guys talking about? This place is whack, nothing special here… move on people! Boring and bland sandwiches! Maybe it was just the one I orderered (Sub Contractor), but I doubt I’m ever going back to this place!

Another great little sandwich spot in Chatsworth. Been wanting to try this place since I drive by it so many times and they were still not open yet. Finally came and tried their special the sub contractor. It had everything ham, turkey, roast beef, and veggies. It was very light and tasty. Not the best sub I’ve ever had in my life but it was still pretty good. They have a list of different sandwiches to try and have specials and discounts. The interior is still lacking a bit but I can understand that since they just opened not too long ago.

Sub-Contractor Restaurant Review.
This recently-opened sub shop is located behind the Munch Box in Chatsworth. The restaurant was bright and clean with five tables inside. Service was friendly.
I ordered the eponymous «Sub Contractor». It was piled high with assorted meats (turkey, roast beef, and ham) and provolone, on fresh wheat bread. I ordered a medium and couldn’t finish it.
The food was much better than the late non-lamented Quiznos which used to be in the same center.
Discount coupons are available on the take-out menu.

Pretty good new sub place in the neighborhood! The bread taste was a bit lacking, but the rest of the sandwich made up for it.
The $ 5 lunch special really made this place a great value!
