Terrible customer service. Avoid this restaurant at all costs! The food is bland and overpriced and they have the worst staff ever!

This place had the best shrimp fried rice. Most places use frozen peas but there veggies taste fresh and the general toes chicken was perfect

I have no idea why this place gets medium/bad reviews. We just ordered delivery from them and it was phenomenal. I’ve had sushi from all over, and I can honestly say that the Spider Roll I had was the best I’ve ever eaten. We order others also and it was all good and fresh. If there was anything I could agree with from other reviewers is the delivery time. It stated it would be 45 mins, but showed up around 65 minutes. The quality of the sushi and the personality of the delivery lady totally made up for it though. Lol. She was very nice and apologized for the late delivery. We almost let some of these bad reviews influence our decision to order from here and I’m glad we went ahead and tried them. We will absolutely be ordering again soon.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for 10 years now, easy. It’s undergone at least two changes in ownership in that time. It used to be a pretty happening joint; seating was difficult to get on weekend nights. But since the second change in ownership, it seems the place is struggling to survive. Now that you know the backstory, let’s start the actual review. The food is typical Chinese/Japanese food that you’d find on almost any menu. I like to go for the Peking, General Tso, Sesame, or Spicy chicken combinations. Those come with the meat, fried rice, egg roll, and a cup of soup with fried noodles. I’d go into more detail about the entrees but the recipes have varied over the years and still may vary depending on who is doing the cooking that day. Regardless of who the chef is, I’ve never been with anyone who didn’t love what they ordered. The wonton soup, my go-to soup, is not overly flavorful, but not watered down either. It’s a mild chicken broth with two or three meat filled dumplings in it. The chicken plates I mentioned earlier are generally fried chicken with a brown sauce and chunky vegetables. They’re each a little different from the others, and all tasty! The service is, for me, great. I like the feel of going into a non-chain, small business and supporting local community members. The staff is always super friendly and the place is pretty clean. Here lately when I’ve gone it has been pretty vacant inside with maybe only one or two other tables filled. I typically go on Saturday afternoons though, so this may be due to the timing. I’d definitely urge you to give it a try and see if you dig it. If nothing else, you have spent a few dollars helping a local business, and that always feels good.

Went again(don’t know why) but wanted to try it one more time. This time I got sushi. Gross. It was the worst I have ever had. Three strikes and they are officially out for me. I always like to give places a chance after a bad experience. But it just seems to me that this place just isn’t for me.

Great food, nice staff. You have to try the kimchee seafood soup. It’s really good. And the staff is very helpful and courteous. The food is always hot and fresh, and we never have to wait long for a delivery. I really like this restaurant!

So I’ve ordered take-out food from here twice now and everything I’ve gotten has been really good. Bonus points — you can order online from their website and they deliver. I’ve had the broccoli beef, lo mein noodles, sweet and sour chicken, egg foo young and cashew chicken. They’ve all be very good. Great flavors and plenty for leftovers. This is my go-to Chinese delivery place now, they even have sushi and Thai food, though I haven’t tried those yet.

The service wasn’t fabulous and the restaurant felt a little dingy BUT the food was yummy and cheap. I’d go back but not if I was in a hurry or on a date.

Only thing worth noting is the service is good. Food is over priced and bland. Used to be cheaper and better quality under the old owners, but once it changed hands, they raised prices and lowered quality. Still makes me sad this is about the only place in Chattanooga to get a bowl of ramen, and it’s not even a good ramen.

Best Chinese in Chattanooga. Nothing else comes close. Food always fresh and hot. Prices very reasonable. I always get the Chinese and vegetables. Yummy.

Oh, Chattanooga, why do you not have another/better Chinese place that delivers to me? I live off Central and McCallie. Y’d think that would be available. So, you know, one star for that. This is a tough one overall for me as my pros and cons seem the opposite of other reviewers. Note: I have not eaten in the restaurant, but only had delivery. That option — 4(my only option, so not looking a gift horse in the…) Note: online menu is not accurate as to what they really offer(ie, you will see things like chicken skewers on the online menu but you can not get them– unless you call and ask questions, you will not know this) — big 1.5. Note: awesome phone customer service. When I called to confirm delivery radius, to ask menu questions, then again to make my order, super helpful and, ahem, English speaking staff helped me well, then the delivery guy(toward the end of their delivery time, 10ish, and under the quoted time by about 15min) was so nice. Even to my barking dog — 4.5. Note: sigh, the food. I typically order the«basics» any time I am trying a new place with a specific bent(sushi, pizza, burgers, Chinese, etc) and went with potstickers and veggie fried rice. As another reviewer said — bland. And I ordered the potstickers(note, they call them dumplings) fried but they arrived an odd cross between steamed and fried. And they were really small compared to what I am used to in my Atlanta places. The fried rice was ok with usual amount of veggies but — get this — seemed UNDER salted. Hmm, weird. I like my salt, and I especially like it in something I expect to be salty. There may be other dishes I’d like better, and I will give them one more try since it’s my only option, and hope it is decidedly better. So, there you go. My assessment of Chinese in my ‘hood.

Quality Chinese. But you should order online because they don’t understand English very well.

Great place to take teenagers and you get a lot of food with the dinner order AND it’s affordable. My daughter ordered shrimp fried rice and my son got the Ginger Chicken. Both loved their meal and were stuffed. I ordered the chicken fried rice, but did NOT eat it. The cubes of chicken were boiled and looked very unappetizing. I was full from my soup and egg roll, so it was all good. It’s not that we won’t go back — but I will definitely choose something else off the menu!
