Stopped here right before they closed. Boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger with onions and A1 sauce plus a small fry. Burger was definitely greasy but very delicious. Fries tasted like they should… Fresh from a potato. Oh and there was about a large fry in the bag as well! I will be back for a burger myself. This is a Unilocal Yum!!!

My husband and I are visiting the area, and we had a free day to explore. We were told by friends that we had to check out the galleria mall, and we started to get a little hungry exploring! Five Guys burgers are my weakness, and are probably my favorite burger ever! This location is just as good as any other location I’ve been to, consistency is key and Five Guys always knocks it out of the park! I got the cheeseburger which comes standard with two patties, topped with ketchup, pickles, and sautéed onions. My husband and I also split a «little» fry. There’s nothing little about the little fry! They give an extremely generous amount of fries in your bag, I think they are more generous with topping off your fries than any other location I’ve been to. The staff is friendly, and helpful. I would recommend stopping in if you’re craving a burger!

Can’t say much that hasn’t already been said about Five Guys(if the newspaper clippings on the wall are any indication). Funniest part of my visit — watching a Five Guys employees eat her Moe’s Southwest Grill taco salad for dinner in the dining area. Burgers are always cooked to perfection with lots of free and generous toppings. I always get A1 steak sauce on my Little Cheeseburger(one pattie, rather than two). The mouldy oldies classic rock they blare(Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues playing right now, really?) can get to you, so make it a dine and dash, don’t stay for the atmosphere.

I used to live in Virginia, and so I’m no stranger to Five Guys. They’re a burger place, but not really a fast food burger place — everything is made to order. This review is in comparison to those original locations. Perhaps not entirely a fair assessment, but I really have to go with how I feel, and I ultimately left disappointed. The staff is energetic and entertaining to watch. They work together well as a team, and it seemed like they were enjoying their jobs. They were going as quickly and efficiently as they can given the number of orders. The fries are great — fresh, hot, and loaded with cajun spice. Eye wateringly spicy. I also ordered a little cheeseburger. This is where the wheels fell off for me. Missing was the juicy greaseburger that I am used to getting from Five Guys. The patty was thin and dry. The grilled onions were a bit crunchy. The flavor was good, but it was really a disappointment for me, especially given the price. For the money, I was really expecting more.

Pains me to write this review… The last 2 times and maybe even 3⁄5 times have been a distasteful and unpleasant experience ranging from burned patties, poor customer service to stale buns and wilted nasty lettuce. I absolutely LOVEDFIVEGUYS when it first came out to Buffalo. Since then, the establishment lost base with what fresh means and serves sloppy patties instead of the true five guy burger which I grew to like. I probably am done at this point. Every visit will cost 10 bucks per person and after a wasted $ 60 I’d rather go to a consistently mediocre Burger King at this point.

Typical 5 guys good over priced burgers and great fries! Greasy floor and sub par clean tables and restaurant… At times young staff is a no go for me, they horse playing and I don’t like people playing around my food.

This is probably my favorite place to get a quick burger in Buffalo. I will start off by saying their menu can seem a little misleading for those who have never been to Five Guys before. Their«little hamburger/cheeseburger» is a burger with one patty, and their regular burgers have two. More often than not, the little burgers are more than enough for one person, if you throw in all the toppings and extras. Fries are usually the same way — you might order a medium, but they also toss a good amount of fries into your bag(so it’s basically a large.) Long story short, if you don’t want to fill yourself up, SIZEDOWN! I’m generally easy to please when it comes to a burger. Just give me my onions and my mayo, and I’m happy! Five Guys’ burgers tend to be a little on the sloppy side, but maybe I’m just a fan of getting messy when I eat!(Usually, I eat it out of the tin foil it comes in – fairly convenient, and it won’t fall apart in your hands.) We’ve ordered from Five Guys multiple times, both sitting in and on the way out of the mall, so I can safely say that I’m a happy regular who will probably always go back.

I ordered a hot dog and it came in pieces(uploaded a photo on here for reference). They apparently cut it completely down the middle. The bun also completely fell apart. It was disgusting. I asked the manager if this was normally how they were served and he insisted this was normal. Falling apart and in pieces. He finally gave me a new one and that was exactly the same. The location near the McKinley mall is so much better. I’m never coming here again. I’d expect a little more for a hot dog that costs over four dollars. Take some pride in what you serve.

Absolutely the best burgers you will ever have. 2 options for sizes, every topping you can imagine and most of them are free. They get sloppy with everything I put on. Delicious fries, enough to share. Great customer service every time I’m there. Love the order ahead option on their website.

First time here and it didn’t disappoint! While it certainly is more expensive than the usual burger and fries what you get is worth it. I went with a «little cheeseburger» and small fries… and it was plenty of food– in fact I couldn’t even finish. I loved the fancy Coke machine(lots of cool pop choices) and the complimentary peanuts! The staff was friendly and quick! Will definitely be back. Went back recently and ordered a «bacon dog» it was over 4 bucks and worth a dollar if that. It was a hot dog split down the center on a roll that was also cut in half with a slice of bacon on top. It was really a mess to eat… the dog itself was tough and there wasn’t much flavor aside from bacon… I wanted to cut it up to be easier to eat since the roll was falling apart at record speed… they didn’t even have forks! Wtf! Only spoons– which I had no choice but to use. The place was a zoo but then again so was the entire mall on the night I went. Along with that bacon dog I ordered Cajun fries… they were spicy but very salty and had a heavy oregano flavor to them. I would skip them if I find myself here in the future. I am so torn on this place and whether I like it or not. The peanuts are still a nice touch. I am taking away a star because of that mess I ended up with.

Average five guys with all the normal things EXCEPT they are a little more pricey than the normal five guys which is why I gave the rating as a four star rather than a 5. Their service is also pretty fast surprisingly to have so many customers in the mall setting. Before Unilocal I came here often even more so than the one on Delaware so I’m happy to support it and give it a pretty good rating!

This place is always a 5-star place! I’m not one who can usually tell the difference between burgers, but this is, without a doubt, my favorite burger, every time! The fries are out of this world too! While they aren’t cheap, the portions are big, and it is always worth every penny! I just love this place!

OK since my original review I have gone back a few times. Main reason is I found out that if I order the small cheeseburger and small fries, it’s only about $ 8 and that is still plenty of food even for a big eater like myself. Also I usually order online for lunch as I have limited time to get their and back. So far they are pretty efficient with this as they already have the burger done and throw the fries in the fryer when I get there so that they still come out hot and fresh. I’m in and out in less than 5 minutes usually. The small burger is the same thing as the regular except one patty instead of two, provides for less mess and is a bit easier to eat. It’s a decent burger for the price. Then the small fries come with a tiny cup but they throw more loose in the bag than the cup even holds. The fries are definitely delicious every time. While nothing mind blowing, I’d take this over any of the Big 3 fast food burgers and fries for sure.

Going downhill fast. I used to love 5 Guys, used to. The food and service quality has been slipping, but today was the worst. I hate when someone says«Can I help you?» and then starts chatting with a coworker while you’re giving your order. Then they look at you and say«what did you want?» I said«I already told you man, try listening.» It’s very customer service 101 dude. On to the food which was disappointing. Mine wasn’t supposed to have onions, it did(probably because he wasn’t listening) so that had to go back. The bacon was awful, zero flavor and charred, bad. The worst were the fries! What happened 5 Guys? Why are the portions so tiny all of a sudden? Everyone knows that you absurdly overstuff the bags with fries, EVERYONE! So you just decide to stop? I did the corporate survey on the receipt, not good 5 Guys… we expect more. Man I love those peanuts and the groovy Coke machine.

I came to this location a couple of times while shopping but I don’t think I will be coming here anymore. I came here on Sunday with Brad for lunch after a busy day of shopping. The food is so expensive! $ 17 for a burger, cheese dog, small fries, and small drink! I get twice as much food at Ted’s for the same price! The cheese dog was nearly $ 5! For a small hot dog with a slice of cold cheese, I was so disappointed. Brad had a cheeseburger and said it was«eh.» The fries could have been a little crispier. The drink machine was pretty cool. While we were waiting for the food, we were looking over the receipt and Brad said«we should have just gone to Ted’s…»

I have been to this location a couple times before, but not in a while and I was a bit surprised. 1) I was shocked when I was driving home at the small amount of fries that I received. Anyone who has gone to Five Guys knows with a regular order of fries, you have enough for two people or more. You tell anyone going here that even for 2 people, you only need 1 order. I picked up my order here and was driving home and snacking on a few and pretty much reached the end of my fries immediately. I literally had 1⁄3 of the fries that I normally receive. Not cool when you are expecting one thing and get another. 2) Burger was ok(‘A-OK”, even, Unilocal). The edges of the patties were a little overdone(and this is from someone that usually orders well-done or medium-well). It was not wrapped tightly and after I got it done«All The Way», it was sort of a mess when I got home. 3) Service. Guy at counter was very friendly. Stuff is fresh, so it isn’t cooked immediately. Took a good 7 or 8 minutes even with one 1 order ahead of mine. I hate the leaky paper bags. I usually make sure I have an extra plastic bag or have re-commissioned a bag from my mall shopping so the grease doesn’t leak on my car seat or purse. Though after eating tonight, my stomach is undecided on if this was such a good idea to stop for dinner. For nearly $ 10 without a drink, I think I will just make my own burger on a George Foreman this summer…
