If I could give this place negative stars I would! Girlfriend and I walk in and sit at the bar. We notice the big round bar has one bartender. Bad sign. She ignored us three times in her travels. On top of that the place is a dump! I wouldn’t let me dog eat in here. I will tell anyone who will listen not go in there.

Closed memorial day weekend. All the while crabs is open and taking all of the business back. Kind of hilarious. At least there is one place to party in cheektowaga on a holiday weekend, but not the 33

To answer owner Scott D.‘s question: Our little group of women goes to lunch once a month, and we’re always looking for new places to try. One of our group lives nearby and said she likes your fish fry, we liked the menu, so we decided to come for lunch. We were glad we did!

This place is no speakeasy, that’s for sure. Packed wall-to-wall with drunken 30-year-olds reliving their pre-20s in a sad, depressing way. They charged a $ 3 cover on a Saturday night(not sure why for a hole-in-the-wall bar), the whole place was filthy, and most of the bathrooms were out of order. Never coming back here.

The reason I came in the first place was to check out Polish Happy Hour. As a learner of Polish I was under some delusion that I might actually run into someone who spoke Polish… may I reiterate D-E-L-U-S-I-O-N. The event was mostly 30+ somethings, arguably locals, and while probably perfectly wonderful people… they were not who I was deluding myself to be there. Maybe some spoke Polish — but it was too crowded to find out. And unfortunately for me and the 33 Speakeasy — first impressions go a long way. There were FAR too many people squeezed into what seemed like a regulars bar/restaurant. The bar is large, but who could get to it? There were tables, but they were your run-of-the-mill cheap restaurant table with those chairs that hearken back to seventies party-house furniture. On the plus side you can say that there is typically plenty of parking. They have a huge lot that is easily accessible when PHH is not happening and people are parking anywhere and everywhere for a chance at free pierogi… which to my understanding isn’t the typical fare of the 33. I can’t say I’ll be back. But I’m biased by my one and only visit… and maybe on a regular day of the week the experience would be better.

I came here drunk, after a night of drinking at a nearby bar. I was starving and my boyfriend buddy suggested we come here for some last night grub. As i walked in the doorman was eating what looked to be pizza logs, PIZZALOGS are by far my favorite junk food, I got a sport at the bar and asked the bartender for a menu, she took our drink orders and was very attentive. The bar was pretty busy and they had the music up pretty loud. The pizza logs were not on the menu but i asked her if they had some, she told me that they sell out of them so fast they don’t even put them on the menu. They are homemade, along with mozzarella sticks! I quickly ordered the pizza longs obviously. These suckers are HUGE! Probably the absolute best pizza log i have ever had in my entire life. I have no idea how the heck they do it but they need to not stop doing it. I dream of pizza logs as good as these now. You would not expect a bar to make good food but as far as im concerned they are killin it at this point! Can’t wait to come back and get some, hopefully they are not out of them when i visit again!

Came here for Polish Happy Hour with my friend Joley B. I’m not really sure what we were expecting, but the Polish Happy Hour was no different than just a loud, crowded night at a bar. The«free» food is contingent on purchasing a raffle ticket. If you buy a ticket, you can get«free» food. If you don’t buy a ticket, you get whatever is left over, if anything. The bar area was at least 5 people deep all around, no open tables. The dining area was better but still crowded. I think people must have shown up at noon to get those tables. They had the second door here propped open with chairs and high chairs. You could not exit that door at all. It made me nervous even to see it. I don’t like feeling trapped. One decent thing is that there is a huge gravel lot next to this bar, so parking is ample. But not during a Polish Happy Hour. It was so crowded!!! If you park across the street, you will have to run across 4 lanes of traffic on Genesee Street… TERRIFYING. Anyway, I didn’t even get to try the food or beer here because even at 5pm, a Polish Happy Hour was jam packed! I may come back to eat here, but will NEVER go to a Polish Happy Hour again!

Great bar! REALLY good food. Nice specials. Lots of TVs, ample space at the bar, or tables if you want to sit somewhere quiet. It’s a really popular place andgets really busy for the weekends. Not too many young people in here though. I’ve so far only had the Chicken Finger Dinner from here a couple of times and its really good, comes with celery, carrots, and blue cheese and french fries.

It’s fun coming here with friends for some social drinks. Love the live bands I think it’s very cool. When the music box is going I feel like it could be just a tiny bit lower only so people can actually hear a little bit while talking. But the space in there is awesome. It’s not so claustrophobic the prices are awesome and the drinks taste exactly perfect! Sometimes it’s hard getting a bar tender but that’s on an extremely busy night which isn’t usually that bad. I’ve only had the food like twice. The wedge salad is so tasty perfect! Finger and wings. Very good. Very awesome local place. Classy and not trashy. And to top that a whole side room which is huge for any celebration.

Definitely a dive, but a great one! Buffalo shrimp are the best I have had, and the wings are awesome too! If you want a casual bar scene with great eats, this is your place. Close to the airport if you are staying nearby.

I love the atmosphere, prices are decent, the problem I have is that I have ordered food 2 times now, and have gotten violently sick. The first time I ordered crab cakes, which tasted good, but within a half hour I was on the toilet… The next time I was Leary, but decided to try the stuffed hot peppers and an app of fingers, don’t know which it was but NEVERAGAIN! Within 10 minutes I felt the rumbling in my stomach, and had to leave, spent the rest of the night throwing up and on the toilet.

My husband had the ribs special last night. They were excellent, tender and sticky-sweet but the side dishes weren’t good. The macaroni salad was bland. Can’t figure out what they used to make it. No tang like mayo or Miracle Whip. The cole slaw was too tangy and needed to be sweeter. Service is good. They need more craft beers on tap. Someone said because of the way the bar is set up they can’t get very many beers on tap so even though they have a decent bottled beer selection you can’t sample those the way you can with draft beer. The wings I’ve had before and they were good but the club sandwich is not made like a true club sandwich and was so-so.

Attended a Jack and Jill party last weekend and paid $ 25 for well drinks from 8 – 11. I have had the slowest service and the bartenders were not nice. They all had scowls on their face(even though I was tipping nicely.) One of the bartenders named Holly refused to serve people during the open bar because they had 2 drinks at once… it was an open bar so I don’t understand why she would refuse to serve those who have paid $ 25 for this event. What made me mad was that she refused to serve people who paid, yet there were no repercussions for bystanders who were going into the room where the party was being held and stealing pizza and wings. This was my go-to place and I really enjoyed the environment but, after my experience this weekend I will not give them anymore of my money! It is such a shame because so many people have been influenced to come here with me, I will be sharing my experience with them. I have brought in countless friends and family on Thanksgiving Eve, New Years Eve, and random nights such as Friday when we talked 17 of our friends into coming here instead of Crabapples for a going away party. If you want to wait 10 minutes for a drink and don’t care if the bartenders is prissy and rude… then come to the Speakeasy.

We really liked the look of the bar, nice changes made :) Fish fry was awesome but my $ 8 chicken sandwich was so disappointing. They must have sliced my chicken breast in half it was so thin, skimpy, and then obviously overlooked because it was so thin. It was too bad too because it was on a beautiful costanzos roll and seasoned really well. Are they trying to save money? That’s not the way! We love the sandwich menu idea but I’m hesitant to try anything else if this is the standard they’re offering. My husband loved his dinner, but between our server never to be found and my disappointing meal, I’m less than impressed.

I’m torn by this place… alcohol was more than a healthy serving… and great drinks. Had to wait 7 mins to get drinks.ehh. server was OK. Friendly but not super conversional. She would swoop in and then disapear. I had crab cakes and side salad… honestly the salad really made me happy. It wasn’t fancy. It was actual lettuce of substance… not see-thru white garbage. Good veggies… healthy!.. Not sad weird winter versions of their happy flavorful selves. Amazing amount no over kill of cheese or any one thing. Not two cucumbers for a giant portion of lettuce. It wasn’t gourmet by any means but it was perfect for a western NY side salad. My crab cakes made me really happy too. The crab reminded me of how I feel about a really good tuna sandwich. yea its not the best quality but its satisfying and tasty. No lump crab cake here but filling with great seasoning. No off fishy flavor… just yummy. So as far as the rating goes… I’d give them a 65 out of 10… I wish maybe I could have a 3.75 lol. Negatives, it was super cold… took a super long time for a drink as well as to get pur food. Services was OK. No one rude, mostly attentive, just nothing that made you go wow! Food good solid 4.
