My search for a decent steak in our new PNW location brought us here on Fathers Day. Very nice place with western/cowboy theme interior and plenty of seating, even on Fathers Day! They were busy, but service was surprisingly quick, with our server being pleasant and fairly attentive. Too be blunt, while everything was«edible»(I was hungry!): the 12 oz sirloin I ordered, while cooked perfectly, was a really bad cut of beef: tough and stringy; salad was warm and wilted, and mashed potatoes and vegetables were barely warm. Very disappointing.

Perfect ending to a beautiful day, a fantastic ribeye in my belly, chased by a cinnamon roll. Happy lady here.

This place was pretty good. They had an amazing display of cows outside of the restaurant which adds to the ambience of the place. After our long drive to raintree nursery the greasy food was what was called for.

The service and the food were great! Celebrated nieces birthday dinner here and we had a big group and they accommodated us quickly and with a smile. Great selection of bbq, salads, burgers and desserts. Prices were worth the food you get, nobody left hungry. Will definitely stop by again if we ever travel this way and highly recommend this place.

Stopped for dinner here late on a Wednesday night drive up I-5 to Bellingham. Service was very good; the food was excellent. I had a N.Y. steak, and my wife had the turkey dinner. Everything tasted fantastic, and they even gave us some extra turkey for our dog(waiting in the car). Nice people! Will always stop here now on my drives through the state.

I am reviewing this place only based in their ribeye steak I stopped in because of its name Ribeye. I think they need to change the name. I would think that the name would reflect what they take pride in. Wrong! The rib eye was about ¾″ thick. Makes it hard to cook medium rare. The meat was firm, not very tender and very little marbling in the meat. Not much flavor The mashed potato and vegetables were ok, standard fair The service was pretty good The do have a large menu with a variety on items but I did not try any of them

This is one of my go-to stops any time I’m making trips between Portland and Seattle. They do pretty tasty food, good milkshakes, and most of the servers are pretty friendly. My one complaint if I have to have one is that I’m not a fan of the coffee, which is a bummer since they call it the best. They are also good at accommodating a group if you give them a little notice. We used to come by with a lot of people once every couple months and they always took great care of us!

I think for the location it was pretty good. The location is in the middle of nowhere so if you are hAngry, drop by and get your American fare fix. Portions are extra large so you won’t go away hungry. I had the Rueben which was very tasty, there are a lot of fries with most the plates so you can probably skip an appetizer if you are not starving. Décor is nice, service is nice. Some of the customers gave us funny looks because we clearly weren’t from the area. Don’t mind that though the employees look very nice and friendly. I’d come back if I had to eat in Chehalis

WOW. What a disappointment… I have been meaning to go check this place out for a few years and finally had the chance to do it so I was very excited. Should have just kept on driving… In a way, after reading the reviews, glad I did not order the Rib Eye even though that sign is visible couple miles away. I had the sampler dish with clam chowder. Clam Chowder: No flavor until you put your spoon towards the bottom of the cup. then BAM! All salt. I could not finish it and only took a few spoonful. FAIL Main Dish: Ribs were tasteless and dry. It says it was dry rubbed but maybe they all fell off because it just tasted like meat. No flavor so i ended up putting salt and pepper on that. Sausage: Now this was actually pretty good. I enjoyed the sausage the most even though it was on a little saltier side. But wayy better than the ribs. Another meat: So not awe-inspiring I can’t even remember what type of meat it was. Maybe it was tri-tip? Not sure. but really not memorable at all. Vegetables: Soooo salty I could not get past a few mouthful of it. So the only thing going for it is the location. Where they pretty much have no other competition so that might be a good thing. However, I would rather starve until the next exit than to go eat here again. Not good. and Good luck

You know this place is halfway between Longview and Seattle. It’s our stop to get something to eat — go pee– stretch your legs– gas up place. It’s good old fashioned comfort and diner food. They do a pretty decent job on steaks, burgers and sandwiches. There’s even fried pickles on the menu! I ordered macaroni and cheese and their mashed potatoes which are made fresh not from a box and they were pretty darn tasty. I love the décor and the service is always spectacular. They do a pretty darn good job at breakfast as well! They’re located in Chehalis right off the five — I want to say exit 72 or 74 on the right-hand side going north to Seattle.

Don’t get the rib eye steak from Ramblin Jacks Rib Eye. My wife and I are fans of rib eye steaks, Ramblin Jacks got decent reviews, to be honest we didn’t see a review of the rib eye steaks but with rib eye being part of the name, we thought it would be great. It was IWMAT, the steak was not prime or grade A. It was the industrial kind of thing they serve in college dorms. Obviously treated with some kind of meat tenderizer, but not treated well, parts were soft and mushy with other parts being tough. Not bad enough to send back but definitely NOT a reason to return. The draft beer was good. The wait staff was OK, but we were obviously not locals and the locals got a lot more attention. The rib eye steak at Waffle Houses are much better and cheaper. Our meals provided adequate calories and nutrition, but it would not be a «destination» for great food

Looking for a nice restaurant isn’t easy, when you haven’t been in that town before. washington is one of our favorite states! So, after a long and trying trip up northwest, we thought to give it a try. From the outside it did not look different than in other small town restaurants. But once we set foot inside, were pleasantly surprised! The style is in old western/cowboy/country. The tables and chairs in dark solid wood. Plenty of sitting around it! A lounge in the back and a small store with nicknacks beside. The menu was a little pricey. But the food was delicious! Prices start with $ 10.-. Just around that! Not a large selection, but it was worth it! We recommend it!

I have to say, this place does not live up to it’s name. I got the Cowboy Rib Eye. It had no char on it and was over cooked with little to no flavor and thin. The mashed potatoes and gravy are obviously boxed. The staff was friend pretty quick. I just expected more! Oh well, check this one off the list as a No/Go.
