I came here with my coworkers after work for dinner, and the space was really crowded and loud. The four of us were seated one of the sides against the wall. A bigger party of at least 50 occupied almost the entire space, and it was really unpleasant. Their food choices are very limited, and their sushi bar didn’t offer much. However, the waitresses we had were attentive to what we needed until the end.

Get this, my homies call me up, «yo, were going to eat at Mandarin buffet near your house. You coming thru?» I said hell yeah! Only because I didn’t eat all day so I was a starving marvin up at this point. We get to the place, these Asian men and women working there look at the sausage fest we just brought on them and seat us. So far so good. I wont lie, the customer service was alright but then again buffets are usually like that, I’m assuming. I did have a complaint that my water wasn’t being refilled enough. I’m over here watching Obama give the Union address speech and I’m thirsty af, but there’s no waitress around. I’m stuck in this sahara desert of a dry mouth so I get up and quench my thirst with food hoping I will get back to an ice cold water waiting for me. This is where my bad portion of the review comes in Jim. We finished feasting like lower class kings and that’s where we all regretted it. Later on that night, I had to work and right before I come in for my shift right? I fucking throw up. Im over here flabbergasted, looking at the noodles and orange chicken I had earlier, on the floor. Next thing you know I’m getting snapchats of all my homies in the bathroom, with their pants down. Mandarin. word of advice. Leave your food to cook. who you rushing for? There were 12 people in that restaurant include my squad of 8. Yall looked bored. Next time spend more time chefing it up.

Food is ok 2.5 stars actually. Most foods were not hot. I had to try it out. Manager was not friendly when were asking for more seating because we told him we only had 12 but we actually had 16 – 17 people. Anyways I’m going here again because the food wasn’t really that good.

I rather go to Flames & grille buffet in Revere is way better, more variety & it’s bigger! & they bubble tea! It’s not bad, decent & edible. Don’t complain, it stuffed me up! Fred said its alright! I’ll give them extra star for crawfish & oysters! Seafood is good here & sushi is ok! The manager more smiley than the women waitress!

This is my happy place! The food is ok, your typical Chinese-for-Americans fare, with some local flavor mixed in(fried plantains for example). Decent size and selection. Also a sushi bar– you can take what’s out or ask for something specific, they are very accommodating. As a mostly vegetarian, there is plenty for me here. Best of all is the atmosphere. The décor is cheery and adorable, the Asian pop music they play is super catchy, and the folks who work there are super, super nice. I go there frequently and they all remember me and give me coupons for next time. It’s like a safe happy place where nothing bad can ever happen. Also I like that everyone goes there, all sorts from all walks of life. It’s a welcoming kind of place.

I came here when it first opened in Chelsea. The food was decent, nothing out of the ordinary buffet. It had a small selection of food, but a good selection at that. My favorite part was the fact that there was SUSHI, which I love. I also enjoyed the fact that I saw someone making the sushi, so I knew it was fresh and not just sitting there all day. The only thing that irked me was the fact that a bill was brought to me after I got up my second time to get food. Staff is definitely pushy, and will stare at you. But if you’re able to ignore them like I am, it’s definitely worth at least one visit.

I really like it here, even though it’s smaller than other buffets, the food is good and it keeps coming out. My family and I usually come here for the crawfish because they keep bringing it out once it disappears. There could be a more variety of sushi though.

I called in to see if i can have some take-outs, and out of curiosity, I asked how do they charge take-outs. The guy told me $ 5/lb. But when I got my food, he just told me the total amount w/o telling me the unit price. I was surprised at how such a small amount can be 2 pounds, so I asked how is this calculated, so I asked how is this calculated, he said $ 6.99 per lb bc I had seafood. I asked is it always 6.99/lb if i have seafood, he goes no, depends on the portion of seafood you get.(BTW, he didn’t even open the box and look at what I got in the box) I am pissed off because: 1. The dishonesty when he told me about the price. If I didn’t double check the price before I leave, I won’t be able to find out I was charged by $ 6.99 per lb 2. I think the rule for doing business is you set a price, and let the customer decide to buy it or not, in stead of vice versa, attracting the customers by a fake cheap price, then decide how much you are going to raise it without letting the customer know. 3. The food is very unfresh. I got 3 tiny blue crab legs. Two of them are halo in the middle, the meat is as hard as the shell. The 3rd one was OK. Which convinced me that the first 2 are from earlier meals. 4. employee/boss not friendly at all. After all, this is not a place worth trying. I can imagine all the earlier reviews about the service are true. If you just want cheap Chinese food, go to panda express or any crapy take-outs, at least they are cheaper, fresher and with a marked price.

This past Friday we had a hankering for a Chinese buffet, so we decided to stop in at this location. This isn’t the first time we have eaten here, but this place has improved since we last stopped in. The restaurant itself has been updated and it was nice to have clean booths and clean bathrooms. The buffet itself is small, but it is well stocked with crawfish, crabs and other delicious items. The sushi here was also decent for a buffet. The staff here was incredible. I know this may sound crazy, but they were polite, they didn’t rush us, and they thanked us once we had finished. Haven’t had this type of service in a very long time. Overall, this was a great dining experience and we will keep it in mind for the future.

Yuck. That’s all I really have to say… Lol. The place is dank. The food was overly oily, or overly cooked, or overly yuck. That’s about all I can say. We went in and tried to get 2 boba teas. 1 Café latte, and 1 strawberry. Can’t go wrong with boba, right? Wrong. Go figure, they didn’t have Boba to start, and the waitress said some type of a modge podge of stuff that translated to «we don’t have boba, we have something else do you want to try?» Sure. Let’s try it. Big mistake! Lol. — We go and get our food… looks appeasing until you cut into the chicken finger and see a piece of dry, hard chicken overly covered in flour-y fried goodness. Drank the boba, My boyfriend drank one sip and said«never again,» I drank my strawberry boba, which tasted like strawberry nesquick. Never again. An hour after leaving, I had a stomach ache. I usually have a pretty strong stomach, so I could only chalk it up to the strawberry boba. Probably will never revisit this place. It was probably good at one point in time… or even decent at some point… not anymore. Thank you for the $ 34 stomach ache… Take your money up the street and order a PuPu platter for 2 at How-win palace(can easily serve 3 – 4 people). Worth the money, never overly crowded, the food is fresh and FAST. Never again will I come here… tis’ all

SPOILERALERT: THEOWNERCALLSTHECOPSONME. We’ve been here a handful of times when we felt like gorging ourselves on decent sushi/banana pudding. Everything else is meh. Food aside, the service is always terrible. It’s like we’re bothering them that we’re there. The girls serving barely understand English except to apologize for the idiot owner. More on that in a minute. The women’s bathroom has a distinct urine smell and the floors are super slippery. SO. We got to the restaraunt well before 3:30 and were greeted by a grumpy guy who rushed us to our table. Waitress took our drink order and we were off to the trough. My co-pilot didn’t realize that the shrimp(with the eyes still attached — why do they do that?!) was only for people wishing to get dinner. We get the bill and are shocked at the $ 30 lunch tab. Whoa, why are we being charged $ 13 each for a $ 9 lunch? We asked the waitress(who didn’t know) so she got Grumps for us. Never before have I dealt with anyone so unprofessional in my life. This man told us that the shrimp were only for dinner and I went to the buffet to double-check because co-pilot hadn’t seen the sign. There it was: Dinner Only. Fine, I said, but I’m only paying the $ 11 that is posted on that same sign, and only for one of us since I don’t do shrimp eyes. I’ll have you know that he screamed at me that«everyone knows» that the price is $ 12.99 for dinner, and showed me another sign. I said that since it was posted where I originally saw it, I’m only paying $ 11. We disagreed, he told co-pilot that he wasn’t a man and didn’t have any b@lls(SERIOUSLY). I told him I wanted to pay the right price and get out of his literal stinking restaurant. He said he’d let the cops decide. I laughed. Three of Chelsea’s finest were there within minutes. Grumps pushed past me to talk to one of the cops and I patiently waited until another one approached me. We calmly spoke and I explained the sitch. Officer started laughing. The other officer had a handful with Grumps as he was ignorant and argumentative. It boiled down to Grumps making a complete ass out of himself and the cops telling him to charge us the right price. One officer told him he should be ashamed and if he were the owner he’d have paid for our meal. As we triumphantly left, the officers agreed that this place was never worth coming back to and gave us a recommendation for a place in Everett.

The epic crawfish battle and crab!!! Feeling of shame and dignity out the window. I like to consider myself having manors. Standing in line waiting for my turn. As soon as the food came out«crawfish and crabs», people who are not inline just grabs random utensil and try snatch from the other side. I watch a lot of martial art movies!!! With my thong in hand I decided to walk away, I’m not gonna lose my dignity and feel ashamed strolling back to my table with eyes on me. But when my wife said she wanted some, I decided no more games and just called for back up, and we surround that buffet island like vultures, hyenas. What ever it took I won the battle that time with full tray«the whole GD tray“on my table. Best to stay away from rush hour if you don’t want to hold a thong in hand and battle.

This restaurant’s buffet selection was very limited, the food was good, but nothing different than you would expect from an average Chinese buffet. There was nothing that I tasted that I disliked. If you’re looking for vegetarian options, it’s limited to maybe three or four items. The staff was nice enough when they would come by the table, but never came back with drink refills and the person at the register was on a cell phone the entire time talking loudly. The interior and ambience did not feel particularly clean or dirty. For what we paid, I was expecting just a bit more, but it did seem like a place that several families did go to often and did seem to enjoy. Sadly, overall, I don’t see myself returning to this restaurant.

Your average Chinese buffet with a respectable amount of selections to choose from. Place was clean and brightly lit. The music selection is a hodge podge of Asian, Hispanic and American etc. Food: The soup selection was a little weak as there was only hot and sour or some kind of vegetable soup. But the hot and sour soup was pretty spicy which I like. Other buffets have a blander hot sour soup which I’m not a big fan of. The peppery chicken was spiced well and was my favorite personally. The sushi selection mostly revolved around using avocado, cucumber and imitation crab meat. There was only 1 type of fish sushi which I saw and was just tuna and cucumber. The seaweed wrapped bean curd was a bit too sweet. Desert wise, they have the big canisters of opened ice cream in windowed fridge with common scooper. A few cakes, jello, pudding and sugared fried dough. Service: Plenty of waitresses around so water was filled regularly and plates removed pretty quickly. Price: Went on Saturday lunch so was $ 9.49. Not bad.

Went in tonight while biting into a dumpling I got two pieces of plastic. Asked for the manager and when he came over he said he could give me 20% off because profits on buffets are very low. I explained I had not even finished my first plate(no where near $ 18 bucks the meal is) the manger then said fine and then said you’re not going to eat any more right. Just not what you would expect when you almost choke.

Went here with the family and it’s very popular! It has everything you want in terms of fake Chinese food BUT the bonus for coming here is the seafood especially at dinner. They have crawfish(aka crayfish or crawdads), fried crab, and sushi. Pretty much eat until you feel you can burst — no judgments here! Service was good and because its very popular there was a bit of wait especially for the dinner hour.

I like 3 Stars, but dont like that 3 Stars is A-Ok, Im somwhere between Meh & Allright!!! I do agree with other people they are pretty much sitting at your table with you trying to rush you out, I had nearly put down my fork & they were there to grab the plate, like dude. Maybe I wanted to lick up all the sauce… The food was what you would expect… Some looked like it had been sitting there all day & the more visited things were constantly replaced… The fruit didnt seem the freshest ever, the sushi selection was good… I hate that water is free but you give me the smallest possible glass on earth! Im gonna bring my own from now on… It was ok, now Im hungry so for some odd reason I want to go RIGHTNOW… But ugh!
