Stopped in to swap out some bakeware that had cracked and no questions asked Megan took care of it right away! I’m not much for shopping at these kind of stores(I’m a guy, bass pro, dicks sports, Golfsmith are my thing!) but this was pleasant and the Moscow mule mugs are perfect for the season, glad they were talking about it!

Wish i could give zero stars! I just shopped in the cherry hill store. The store associate lead Bethanne asked me to leave the store and refused to complete my transaction while yelling at me because i stated i wanted to shop at the Moorestown store in future. Said i could make my transaction in Moorestown !!! Embarrassed me in front of the guests and my son as well as herself and their brand! Do NOT shop cherry hill until they improve their service. Sent inbox message on facebook to corporate and they called me within minutes… excellent service! what a disconnect between the corporate and the store. Ps samantha at Moorestown. .very professional and helpful!

I always think I love Pier 1, and then I go into the store and realize I really don’t. I do typically find a couple things that I like, but the stuff is just WAY overpriced. $ 40 for a single throw pillow? No, thank you. I do have some very nice bedroom curtains from here, which I LOVE, but I only got them because my mom generously got them for me for Christmas one year. Otherwise, they would have been a bit out of my price range. Some of their wall art is also nice, but again, so overpriced for mass-produced«art.» I’ve had my eye on one painting for about a year now. It’s finally on sale, but still pretty pricey. A lot of their stuff is also a little on the weird side — I guess it’s just not my taste. Pier 1 may be nice for a few specialty items, but the average person would probably find it difficult to justify decorating too much of their home from this store.

When did Pier 1 get so expensive? Don’t get me wrong, they still have nice things, but for a lot of their items they are more expensive than Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel and their stuff is not better quality. This location is the newly relocated version of the store that use to be on the other side of Haddenfield Road. The building was built for them from the ground up and it is really pretty when you walk in. They sell the standard Pier 1 stuff though I seem to recall other Pier 1 locations having a much larger and diverse collection of candles and other home«smell goods». What I can’t seem to get over is the price in this store. I know they are corporately owned and their prices are all the same at all of their locations but they just seem like they are trying to be some uppity highend boutique when all their stuff is similar to what one can find in Home Goods or Target for one third of the price.
