International House Of Pancakes

The food was good until I saw a hair on my fried then I told the waiter and he go me a new plate. So I began to eat again and I pull my fried shrimp apart and saw another hair in my food!!! I’m disgusted!!!

I would think is a solid 3.5. however I leaned to 4 because the service has been getting better.
Have gone here a few times when looking for a generic breakfast craving. Upon looking at the other reviews I completely understand where many of them are coming from. I have seen the small transformation of the staff over time. It is getting better. However, just like most things, it’s a process.
With respect to the food, I think the biggest thing it lacks is the general plate appeal. It definitely is a «what you see is what you get» deal. Or in this case, what you order, is going to be the bare minimum of what you get.
In sum, if you want breakfast food because you’ve been up all night, have a hangover, or are just feeling lazy and want no frills, this’ll do.

Took like 5 minutes before anyone came to the table for drinks. Service was slow. They ran out of straws and we had to ask for utensils. Was not pleased overall.

What the heck happened in this place ??! We went there last night late and with 3 cars in the lot were unsure of what to think. We walked in at 10:15 and they close at 11:00, so we were hurrying a bit. When we got inside there was no one to seat us, so we stood there until someone came about a minute later. There was only one group inside and they were already eating their meal. Once we were seated it took about 4 – 5 minutes for the waitress to make her way to our table to take our drink order, which then didn’t arrive for another 10 minutes. Ok, we’ve been here 15 minutes and just ordering our food. After 30 minutes, we still didn’t have our food !! WTH is going on… we were starved !! Our food arrived about 40 minutes later, the waitress said the order didn’t print out in the back so the cook was unaware of the order. BS ! Too much shuckin and jivin and not enough attention to detail. We’re done with this place…

Poor poor service. Poor food. We should have been warned by the lack of cars in the parking lot and lack of patrons inside. I doubt this place is still around in 6 months. What happened? Came here about a month ago & they were out of food! No stars… only uck

Came for breakfast. Not very crowded but the meal took forever. Waitresses were arguing between themselves over tables. While my sausage and eggs were good, the pancakes were dry and crunchy. Whoever is cooking them needs to learn. My 17 year old daughter could do a better job. Service was bad. No refills. Waitress did not check on us other than to bring food out.

This is an ok IHOP. It really depends on your waitress. One time I had to wait 20mins just to get the check and let’s not even talk about the wait for the food. To be fair it’s only happened one time. Most of the time the waitresses are nice and the food gets out in a timely manner. I’ve never had a problem with the order being wrong or food being cold and they have great coffee. All and all a good choice for breakfast.

It wasn’t busy when we came mid week for breakfast. Still, had to wait to be sat b/​c once she sat the people in front she didn’t come back up front. There were people waiting to pay as well. We were finally given a booth and our server was just luke warm. No huge smile or conversation. Again, it wasn’t busy.
And then we waited. It must have been 20 min before I saw a table nearby getting food… and knew we would be there a lot longer. Yep. Waited forever for our food. why???
The breakfast platter was fine. Eggs were right. Hashbrowns perfect. Bacon just right. Kids loved their pancakes and french toast. My coffee was just eh.
I can’t say I will be back anytime soon. Perhaps if the server had been more friendly. Perhaps if I hadn’t waited wayyyyy too long for breakfast. I even had to wait to pay up front when leaving. This place just feels down in the dumps. Go somewhere else for faster food and friendlier service.

Today was not a good day for me at this IHOP. The waitress was slow, messed up all three orders, the coffee was old and reheated, pancake toppings were sparse, and well … overall disheartening visit.

Went to an early dinner here with my mother in law and my two kids. The restaurant was cleaner that whtt I had remembered and it was surprisingly not busy at all. Tables were clean and the waitress was extremely attentive and pleasant.
Now if you are going to IHOP, you should be going for the breakfast. My mother in law got a salad and she was very pleased with it. I ended up getting a 2 egg breakfast and it was plenty of food. I didnt get any ocoffee on this visit but I know that it is typically good. The kids were happy with their pancakes.
I did notice that all of the omelets cost more than $ 8. It is alot of food though.
I guess if I had the choice of getting a breakfast at an IHOP or Waffle House, I would choose the IHOP. It just feels like a cleaner environment.
