Great food for a bar but the service is tricky. The price may say one thing on the menu but when you receive the check it may be different. Also, the waitress did not honor my Unilocal check in discount. It was suppose to be 25% off with Unilocal check in. Nevertheless, she gave us 10% off. This is my second time here after giving this place another shoot from the terrible first experience I encountered. Second time around the service has improved slightly. Not sure I’ll come back.

Went here for karaōke! Had a blast. If you want a crowd, bring them. Small crowd during the week.

So. Hampton Roads has their fair share of dive bars and this one is no exception. I read the reviews ahead of time — and pretty much expected the worst.
My Dad goes here often. This is his dive, daily after the Y. Parked in the back, walked in — that old man of mine greeted me and we sat down for a beer. The bartender could’ve have been cooler if she had tried. She gave me a sample of beer which was awesome — we discussed their potential, future dessert menu (hello fried cheesecake!) and the ale I chose came out lovely and cold. I mean, even though the bar was full of Cowboys fans — I still had a good time. Cool bartender, the old man sharing a brew with his daughter and good times. Really, what more is there?
Didn’t try the food — I ate earlier — but will be sure to meet him up there again soon and try the chow.

Good atmosphere, decent drink prices. Waitresses were a little irritable and seemed overwhelmed-​and honestly… It wasn’t even that busy. We were there for Karaōke and it seemed to take forever between the sets.
When my friends did get up to sing-​it was hilarious and fun-​but other than that decent bar scene.
I would go back but maybe not my first choice of places to hangout at– especially since both locations are a little out of my area and there are some really awesome places to hangout at on Oceanfront.
One positive is that the bar is right next to a Farm Fresh so I could grab an energy drink!

This Krossroads does not allow smoking like the other one. Pretty empty for a Thursday night football. Plenty of TVs. We plan on checking the place out on a Sunday. Everyday the have some kind of special. 3 pool tables.

Everytime i order breakfast i get quoted an hour. I come back an hour later and i wait another half hour and get cold food i only ordered biscuits and gravy and the bartender couldnt care less.

Nice local bar, good food, pool tables S. Very casual. Buy one get one free apps on Tuesdays.

The place was clean and the food was good. Problem was the Mr Hollywood karaōke guy who skipped my fiancée over his regulars 3 times. I spoke to him after the 2^nd and he still went a 3^rd. Left me with s disrespected feeling I wont soon forget… I just wanted to enjoy a night out… my fiancée actually has a great voice… not that anyone would know thanks to the guy… didnt ruin my night just my prospects of ever visiting the place again… ashame really the place was otherwise great.

I would probably rate this place higher for the food and time spent here over the years if not for the treatment of management and staff as of recent. I went to the Kempsville location for the first time on a Tuesday night. There was only three other ladies at a table not far from my BF and I. We got in a spat and the bartender screamed at us to pay our tab and leave. She proceeded to scream at us to get out and threatened barring us and added from both locations! I am wondering what the heck? While fumbling to pay bill, realized cash-​wise we were $ 4 short (she charged us full price $ 14.00 for 2 fireball shots at 1 minute until happy hour was over and they should have been $ 2 on this night, and that is what we thought we were paying). Now, I also had a credit card to use but she screamed she did not care about the $ 4, she would cover it, to get out and if we did not leave now she would bar us for good and at both LOCATIONS! She was yelling and going off louder than the spat we had! I live near the other location and have gone there for 7 years. Especially football season! I also spend about average $ 45 on my self with food or food to go for lunch next day at work and upwards of $ 90 with my BF for food and drinks when we go and sometimes that was three times or more a week!
I waited a month of this occurring because I was ticked off and called the manager to tell her what happened and see what the deal was before I contemplated visiting again. I have worked in bars and never was someone kicked out for an argument with a bf. Let alone barred from two locations permanently? Told her what happened, she said she did not know about it and no worker can just bar someone let alone from both locations without her knowing or authorizing. Staff can only send you out for the night. So, thinking everything was good we went back in and got food and a few beers one night at other location. No problem. Next night stopped for two beers before going home to cook and was told what are you doing here — there was an issue with you two and you are not allowed here from Kempsville location. Bartender from that night was sitting at end of bar looking at us. The Cook came out and confronted us and said manager said we were kicked out. I said we were here last night? I talked to manager already too and she told me no one told her about it and no one but she can bar someone from both locations permanently. He said when? I told him she was working behind bar for a girl that needed off one night and I drove by going to the store and saw her so I stopped and came in and talked to her. He rebuffed that she is not here that night and never works behind the bar and the bartender last night did not know we were barred. I said because we are not. Now if a regular person was really barred from two locations wouldn’t the whole staff know? He refuted all that I said as if I was lying and so we just left. Now more ticked than ever. I am calling the manager and getting this settled once again… what a waste of time!
I have called twice and once again talked to manager where she informed me that we walked out on our tab! A tab I have no proof of paying because we paid cash. So beware. DO NOT pay cash! If you do GET A RECEIPT! I told her we fumbled for the cash as she lambasted us and she said she would cover the $ 4 short just get out! So how did we walk out on our tab? I said that was a lie, the bartender was screaming at us as she swiped up the cash off the counter. I explained everything and she said that she would talk to her and I said well she stole the money if that is what you were told and her register was short that night almost $ 50.00? She needed to look at cameras to see that the lady was stealing from her. She said she’s worked for me a long time and would tell her the truth and she would talk to her. I said I did not understand how all this comes about from two people having an argument in a virtually empty bar on a dead night! I gave her my cell number. I have called back and left message. No return call still.

The bartender wanted me to dance the last time I saw her when she was in there off work and now wanted us gone? So I can only assume she needed the cash and used it to make it look like we walked out on a tab of which I HAVE NEVER DONE IN MY LIFE! HOPE THEY READ THIS BECAUSE I AM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT HIS SCAM OF A PLACE! Half bartenders had become rude anyway, like you should be happy they get to you when they get to you.

Everything you look for in a local watering hole. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was better than most bar food. They didn’t have my favorite beer on tap, but it did he job from the bottle.

This place was great! Staff was super friendly and the general tso wings were freaking awesome! Best wings I’ve had in norfolk!!! They have a ton of daily specials and lots of cool stuff to do.

Let me just start by saying this place is not much to look at from the outside. But once you step inside its your typical laid back sports/​dive bar. Very clean and well kept. Went for a football game and they have plenty of tvs to catch the game from every angle. I ordered the extreme nachos and they are extreme. Very large so you get you money’s worth. The pool tables were in average condition. The happy hour was sub-​par and that would be my only complaint. The beer bucket was really the only deal $ 10 for 5 domestics in a bucket. Would go back for one of their daily specials!

What a nice surprise! I almost didn’t eat breakfast here because I know what «bar» food usually tastes like. This was wonderful and so reasonable! The bacon was crisp, eggs done as asked and served piping hot. Service was good and everyone was really friendly. I think I found my new neighborhood hang out.

Been going to Krossroads for years. I recently started to smoke cigar and at times I have smoked them at the bar since it is a bar that allows smoking. Yesterday I went to the bar to have a drink and brought my cigars with me. I was told that there where complaints about the cigar smoke (I only smoke high quality cigars) and I was no longer allowed to smoke them there. I think it prejudice againist those of us who only smoke cigars.

The happy hour is good; $ 2 beers and shots. I tried the spiciest wing on the menu and the sauce was very respectable. The make their wing sauces in-​house. A cheerful, local crowd is here that provides the atmosphere, which is your classic strip mall bar local’s hang-​out type of atmosphere. That’s not a bad thing. It is what it is. Yuengling on-​tap, too. I’ll be back.

Went here on a Friday night and tried the ribs which are on special every Friday. They were delicious and the price was great. They have a friendly staff who gave great service. Several patrons raved about the burgers, so I will definitely return to try. Has a very casual atmosphere with a decent mix of background music and they had karaōke the night we went, which is always entertaining.

The service was awful! There were 19 people in the bar on a Friday night and it took more than 5 mins for a drink! I could never find our server. I requested a specific server (Cindy) when I first got there and I was denied bc we weren’t in «her» section. Service was slow and the food was mediocre at best. I’ll only go to the pleasant valley location from now on.

Another place where I have driven by it almost every day and just never stopped!
I finally stopped by and OMG, I wish I had gone there sooner!
First they have about 9 Beers on Draft, including PBR which is $ 1.25 all the time. Other drafts include Guiness, Blue Moon, Angry Orchard, Sam’s Seasonal, Yuengling, a local brew I don’t remember the name of, some kind of IPA, and Bud Light.
Their burger menu is AWESOME. They have some really good combos for the burger, and you can choose your size patty. For the large size, on the basic burger, it is only $ 6.24. I don’t see how they are making any money!
They hand make all of the patties, and they even hand cut their fries. I am not really a fry person, just because most places use the exact same frozen fries from Sysco. I love that they hand cut and hand season all of their fries.
The burger was amazingly well seasoned, presented on a great bun that did not fall apart, and served HOT.
They have specials every day on food and drinks. Monday is 49 cent wings, Tuesday is bogo on appetizers, etc. Even specials on Fri Sat and Sun.
They have 3 pay per game, not by the hour, pool tables, and quite a few tvs around the room. I did not ask if they get any of the sports packages, or PPVs.
They do Karaōke on Fridays, and Saturdays they have bands.
Everyday from 4pm to 7pm is Happy Hour, which is MORE specials.
This place would be great for a group, they have two counter like rails near the pool tables that would seat 10 – 12. They are in perfect position to see the tvs, and use the pool tables.
