Wendy’s

This is an older remodeled store located in a tight location that is a little hard to access. As such I rarely stop here. The last time was several years ago. This time I came because we were pressed for time and opted for me to pick up a couple of grilled chicken sandwiches instead of cooking dinner.
When you eat fast food you can’t go in expecting gourmet dining so my 4 star rating is only compared to my expectations and experiences with other fast food locations.
The only bad thing I can say about this location was that the floor was a bit sticky. Sort of like the floor was mopped but not rinsed too well.
On this visit I had the misfortune of arriving shortly after a group of fairly substantial women with some pretty big appetites with special likes and dislikes. Although there were several other people in line besides me and only one counter person I was very impressed with how well she handled both the people and the orders.
The best part of my visit was remembering to check in and get my free kids frosty.
The food was ok and as good as any good fast food could be. I still don’t care for the lettuce Wendy’s uses as well as their tomato quality but the rest was fine. The four stars instead of three was because of how impressed I was with the young lady at the counter.

This location is worth coming to over the others close to me. The remodel is nice but the people are really trying to be super friendly. Reminds me of chickfila how they come around asking if you need anything, and using your name when giving you your food. But it works well and it’s nice to have friendly fast food.
The menu was simplified but they do still offer the cheaper options… it’s just harder to find on the menu board.
We like the hamburgers and chicken sandwiches here. Consistently good.
