As someone with lots of allergies to food, I am very picky about what goes into a meal. Which means I starve and then binge when I can get good food. Then I came back to St. louis and started eating the prepared meals to go. Very healthy food and no prep. I walk in and pick out breakfast lunch and dinner and I am on my way. No more wonder what will be for lunch tomorrow or running to the store to grab one ingredient to finish dinner. Pull out a container heat it up or not and I am happy and full. If your life can be busy or hectic I highly recommend this place. Meals are 7 – 15 with most hovering in the 8 – 10 range. For 30.00 a day you can eat healthy and not worry about it. 900 a month might be a bit much for some, but I consider it an investment in my health. And when friends want to go out to be relatable I say am full, wanna go rock climbing, I have a healthy meal you can eat on the way over. Thanks Jillian and crew.

I’ve been telling myself that I’m going to start meal prepping and bringing my lunch to work for months, so when I heard about Jillian’s Fit Flavors, I decided to admit to myself that I was not going to do that and check Fit Flavors out instead. My boyfriend and I visited the Brentwood location on Sunday, 2⁄15. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and unpretentious(which is important to me for a health-oriented business because that’s not always the case). We bought 7 things to try, planning to take them for lunch a few days this week. Well, it’s Wednesday and we have already eaten them because we’ve been making them for lunches and dinners. All of the options we’ve tried have been delicious — and so healthy. One other thing I’ll mention is that I’m not the hugest meat fan in general, and the thought of days old reheated meat kind of grosses me out. However, all of the meats have been very well-seasoned and moist, even reheated. I thought the meat may be a problem for me, but it’s not at all. While the ~$ 10 per lunch price point is more than I might spend prepping my own meals, we all know I’ll never actually prep my own meals and it’s much cheaper and healthier than eating out for lunch every day. Also, they have a free rewards program where you get $ 5 off every $ 100(or some variation of that)… basically 5% off. Regular Sunday stops at Fit Foods may be my «meal prep» plan from now on — highly recommend!

Today I stopped in to check this place out, after my mom told me about it. The owner greeted us as we walked in. She was extremely friendly and informative. Since it was my first time in, she gave me a menu and a run down on all the food. The selection is huge! I can’t wait to try more. I picked Spiced Rubbed Chicken Breast(with veggies) and the Asian Slaw. They were delicious. I even accidentally heated my chicken twice but it was still amazing :) Unfortunately, I’m only here visiting(which is another reason this place is amazing and helpful, while traveling) but I’ll be stopping in to pick up more meals. The employee that rang me up was also very nice and helpful with my questions. I highly recommend going in and trying a few meals.
